Jughead's p.o.v.

It has been 3 days since Betty went missing and it is really getting to me. I even went as far as sending Salem to live with Veronica and Archie cause I can't take care of myself let alone her. I've tried contacting my dad but nothing has gotten through. I was lost without my wife, I needed her.

"Thank god you are here" I said as my dad walked through the door. "Sorry I took so long, I was on business in greendale. What's going on" my dad asked as he steadied my fumbling body. "Penny has Betty, and she called me" I said as my dad helped me into a chair and handed me my whimpering daughter. "What did she say? Did she give any clues of where she was?" My dad asked frantically. "She said something like, that's the price of crossing me in my home" I said. "I know where she is at" my dad said as we both bolted out the door and into his car.

Betty's p.o.v.

"When Jughead finds us he is going to be livid" I said as I began to lose consciousness. "If he finds you Betty" she said as she plunged her knife into my thigh causing me to scream out again. "He might find you in pieces" she said as she pulled her knife out. "You don't scare me Penny, I've met scarier people than you could ever imagine" I said as I looked her in the face. "Oh is that so" she said as she got in my face. "She's talking about me" Jughead said as he shot the ghoulie by the door.

He walked over and put his gun up to Penny's head. "This is for shooting the bar where my child was" he said as he took his knife out and stabbed Penny in the stomach. "This is for almost shooting my wife" he said as he pulled out his knife and plunged it into her thigh. "This is for kidnapping my wife and threatening my child" Jughead said as he stuck it into her shoulder. "And this is for ever thinking you could get away with messing with me or my family" Jughead said as he pulled the trigger and Penny fell to the ground.

"Betty are you okay" Jughead said as he rushed over and picked me up as the tears began to fall down his face. "I am now that you are here" I said as he rushed me out to the police cruiser. "Jughead please don't be mad at me" I sobbed. "Why would I be mad at you" he said as we got in the backseat of FP's cruiser. "Cause I borrowed your bike without asking and I lost it" I said as he held me. "I'm not mad Betty, I'm glad you're safe" Jughead said as he kissed me. "I love you Betty" Jughead said as we pulled into the hospital.

"I love you too Jughead" I said as I was taken out of the car and laid down on a stretcher before I was rushed into the hospital. "Mrs. Jones how are you feeling" a nurse asked me as I was being examined. "Where's my baby" I asked Jughead as he held my hand. "Veronica is bringing her" he said. "I'm feeling good, I'll probably need a few stitches" I said as I looked at Jughead. "Stay with me" I said as I was taken to X-ray. "I'm not leaving anytime soon" he said as he kissed my hand.

Jughead's p.o.v.

"You are a lucky woman Mrs. Jones, all you need is a cast and a few stitches, your nose is also broken but it wasn't pushed out of position. It will heal naturally" a nurse said as she walked in the room and gave Betty a few stitches and casted her. "Salem" Betty yelled out as Veronica walked in holding our baby. "Oh how we have missed you" I said as she was handed to Betty. "You need to stop growing" Betty said as she kissed her daughter's nose. "I know, she has gained at least a pound since last time you saw her" I said as I kissed Betty.

"I'm glad to be back" Betty said as the doctor walked in. "I've handled all your paperwork, you are free to go" he said before walking out. "Let's go get a milkshake at pop's" Betty said as we walked out of the room and to the exit. "I've never heard a better idea" I said as we walked to the car.

At pop's

"Now that we have the time to talk, What the hell were you thinking" I said as I took my hand off hers. "You are my wife and we both promised to be there for each other, how can I be there for you when you go off alone trying to play hard ass" I said sternly. "You put our family at risk, you realize that your stupidity could have cost me a best friend and our daughter her mother" I spat. "I know and I'm sorry" she said as tears began to fall. "Sorry doesn't cut it Betty, your actions were nothing but selfish and you need to start thinking about other people" I stated. "We are partners and I should have told you" she said as she grabbed my hand.

"I was selfish and from now on I am going to include you in everything I do" she said as she kissed me. "Now tell me, what were you doing there" I asked as I leaned back into the booth. "It didn't take me long to narrow down who tried to shoot me, I wasn't going to seek revenge but the minute she endangered my child it became personal" Betty explained. "I sent you to get Salem so I could go off and tell Penny to back the fuck off, but she got the drop on me" she added. "I have never felt so helpless, don't you ever do that to me again" I said as I grabbed my crying daughter and began to soothe her. "Don't you ever do that to her ever again" I said as I pointed to our daughter.

"She is our top priority" I said as I handed her Salem. "I love you and the family we built" I said as I helped my wife out of the booth. "Promise you will let me help you from now on" I said as I walked her to her car and fastened Salem into her seat before getting in the passenger seat.
