"Long before time had a name, the First Spinjitzu master created Ninjago, with the four Golden Weapons of creation. After, he settled among the people of his new land and befriended many of them, passing onto his chosen few the power over the elements. But fighting broke out as the Serpentine, a race of soulless monsters, rose up to take Ninjago as their own. The First Spinjitzu master fought against these snakes with the help of the humans and Elemental Masters, the war lasted for years and the land was soaked in blood from both sides. To end the fighting the First Spinjitzu Master met with the current Serpentine king, King Mambo V, to forge a peace between the humans and the snakes. The lines were drawn and neither side was allowed to cross into each other's borders. A time of peace fell over the land, though at first unstable and full of mistrust, over time both sides began to prosper. The humans built cities and great architecture, with the help of the many Elemental Masters. As for the First Spinjitzu Master, he settled by himself in his temple, built far away from cities around him. Here he resides, alone giving guidance to lost travelers or to thoughts who seek him out, watching the world he created slowly spin by."

"Is that true mommy?" The little girl blinked her large green eyes "That he cweated evweyting?"

"As true as you and me." The brown haired woman replied, smiling at the little toddler in her lap.

"Did daddy fight snakes?" the toddler asked "People aw always telling me that daddy is a gweat wawior."

"Your father is a great warrior. But he never fought the Serpentine, that was long ago before he was even born. Our ancestors did though, your father tells tales of our family and how they are said to be able to move mountains and command the earth."

"Can daddy do that?"

"He could, long ago, before you came into our lives."

"What that mean?"

"You will see my Little Bear." The woman smiled and stroked the glossy black hair of her daughter's head "You're a very special little girl, don't you ever forget it! Someday you're going to do great things, things that will make me and your ancestors proud!"

The little girl beamed and snuggled up against her mother.

"Someday I will twavel to where all the snake aw and beat their butts! So they will neber twy and take over again!"

Her mother laughed at her daughter's statement patting her head.

"We'll see Little Bear." she said, "We will see."
