Josh and I got off the car and walked in. Some people were already drunk. We walked past some people, greeting some of the ones we found in the path, bumping into others, trying to find our friend group. I spotted Blake hand in hand with Chloe, as well as Diane with Noah, Skylar, Jaden, Bryce, Nicole, and Griffin.

We greeted everyone, and soon after that, I went to get a drink,

"Hey you shouldn't be drinking, you're underage." I heard

I turned around and saw Axel, "what are you doing here?" I asked with a laugh

"If you didn't know, this is the senior bash, and I'm a senior." He laughed back

"Well, my bad." I answered ironically

"Here, let me help."

He started serving me a drink. We kept on chatting for a while, I can't believe how he cute this kid is. He's smart, funny and sweet.

"Hey, I didn't ask for your number earlier."

Fuck. I thought.

I gave him my number and we continued our conversation. Suddenly, I saw from the corner of my eye, Blake was approaching us. He was walking in a very weird pace, he seemed kind of upset

"Hey Mag, can we talk?" Blake said interrupting

"Umm, sure." I hesitated

"See you around, Maggie." Axel gave me a warm smile and left

"Is this guy bothering you?" Blake asked annoyed, getting out his protective instinct, that to be honest, didn't need to come out

"Not at all." I answered dryly

He nodded and started speaking, "See, I really can't stand Chloe anymore, and I don't know what to do with her. Like, I don't want to hurt her feelings, but this is definitely not working."

"I just feel you guys are not compatible, but there's nothing wrong with that, you should talk to her, Blake, you are once again, postponing your feelings and problems."

He kept on giving details of why him and Chloe were not working as a couple. He mentioned numerous points which made me question why they're still together. Of course, I couldn't say anything about Chloe's other guy. Not my right to say it, even if he's my best friend, I don't want to get involved in a situation where she blames me. Considering she doesn't love me that much, because of how close Blake and I are.

We made it to the conclusion that he's going to talk to her and probably break up, I mean, that's on him, I've heard this story numerous times and they never break up.

Blake left the conversation to get back to Chloe. Axel invited me over to dance and to be honest, I had a blast with him. He's so charming and I actually can't believe I never saw him in class.

We decided to finally leave the party, and Blake offered to take me home. Before leaving, I saw how Blake and Chloe were having a heated conversation. As soon as we got in the car, Blake started telling me how she was getting shots with a shirtless boy and she was being all touchy around him. Blake was not mad because of this precisely, though I consider it disrespectful, but because he can't even be too close to his own girl friends without her getting mad. She had him trapped.

"Chloe wanted to put me against you." Blake mentioned

"What do you mean?" I asked

"She told me you guys went out for lunch, she started telling me how unhappy you were about us being a couple, and how you told her to break up with me."

"What the fuck? Blake, she asked for advice on what to do with your shitty relationship, and of course I told her that, how am I supposed to tell her to keep a relationship that does nothing but keep you guys arguing." I said very annoyed

"I know you. I know you said that just because it's the truth, she's just trying to twist your intentions to make me believe it's your fault and not hers."

"Why would that be my fault?" I rolled my eyes

"You know her, she tries to blame anyone but herself to keep her good girl image."

I groaned loudly and turned up the volume of the music. I was tired of Chloe and I can't believe she used me to keep her image around Blake. Blake is my best friend and he has showed, even though we took our distance because of his relationship with Chloe, he still puts me first, and Chloe definitely didn't count on that. Maybe she had a plan of getting rid of me because she probably feels threatened, but it's funny because I didn't do shit.

"I broke up with her," He said as he stopped the car in front of my house

"Finally." I said in a very cocky way

"Why are you pissed off?" He asked frustrated

"I'm not pissed off, who said I was pissed off?"

"I know you Maggie, those words just told you off. You always say that when you're mad." I looked at him but didn't respond, "Is it because she tried to get in between our friendship?"

"No, it's not because she tried, it's because she accomplished it. Come on Blake, it's been six months and you have barely talked to me. You haven't been a best friend to me. Josh is the only one who has actually been there. She was not good to you and you still let that happen, because someone who truly loves you wouldn't try to take you away from your friends. You've been missing these past months, and you definitely pushed me away."

"Maggie, I-.." He started but I interrupted

"Don't say anything. I'm done with the conversation, thanks for bringing me home." I said as I walked out of the car and into my house

I don't know if what I did was too childish, maybe I should've let him speak, but at this point I just knew I was going to get more and more upset, and I'm done with disappointment. I'm trying to ignore it, and I knew Blake disappointed me
