"So, what movie would you like to watch?" Blake said as he browsed through netflix
"I don't know, maybe, shrek?" I said
"Maggie, we watch that all the time." He chuckled
"Then, you choose." I said throwing a popcorn to his hair
"I know how much you love shrek," He smiled, "That should be fine."
He played the movie, as both silently watched it and laughed throughout it.
"You know, Josh asked me if we had kissed." I said staring at the screen
"Really?" He questioned looking at me, but I didn't look back
"Yeah, but I told him we just cuddled." I answered
"I haven't said anything. Promise." He stated
"I know, I trust you."
"And I won't." He said
"Me neither." I looked back at him
I told my sister, though, sorry not sorry.
"I liked what happened actually." He said turning back to the screen
"It was nice." I chuckled
"Maybe, we should do it again sometime." He stated, "I mean, if you'd like."
"I would, honestly."
Yeah, and two days ago I was thinking I needed to get back on track and completely ignore what happened that weekend
"If you don't say anything, and I don't say anything, and keep it just between us, it could work." He stated pausing the movie
"Like, fuck buddies?" I asked
"Why not? We trust each other, and no one would know, it would be to satisfy our needs." He shrugged
"Deal." I said without thinking
"Okay, but we need rules." Blake said
"Umm, okay, rule #1. I'm not pissed off by the fact of you kissing someone else, but please tell me, it's kinda nasty if you kiss someone and then come to me." I said
"Agree, you tell me too in case you hook up with someone. Rule #2, it stays between us." He added
"We knew that already." I chuckled, "Rule #3, always wear protection."
"Promise. Rule #4, no falling in love." Blake said
Interesting game.
"Sure. Call it a deal?" I extended my hand
"Totally." He winked and shook my hand
Blake and I literally just agreed on being friends with benefits, and I'm not really sure how that will turn out. I mean, I've heard stories about before and it never has a good ending. Either you fall in love with the person and the other person did too, or end up hating each other, most likely because one fell and the other didn't.
I'm scared that I'm the one who falls and doesn't get loved back. Agreeing is a risky move, but I am not the best at taking good decisions. I live very recklessly, and even though I try to avoid disappointment, I live to my fullest, and as if every day was the last for me on earth.
Let's just see how this ends..

"How do I look?" I asked my mom
"Beautiful, baby." She smiled
"I bet Melina will look like a princess." I smiled back
"And one day, it will be you." She stated fixing a bobby pin on my hair
"I don't know, mom. It's hard to find someone good these days." I stated
"What are you saying? You are an amazing girl, Maggie. We've raised you to be the best version of yourself, and it's no joke to me one day you'll find someone who treats you like the diamond you are." She said kissing my cheek
"I love you, ma." I smiled, "It's just difficult, you know, Axel was such an amazing guy, and fate still managed to bring us apart. I thought he was the one."
"Don't be frustrated. You have plenty of time, and in fact, Axel was an example of how good a boy can be to you. He showed you the bare minimum you deserve, especially, after Brayden."
Brayden is my ex boyfriend of three years who basically treated me like trash. I had zero hope in boys until Axel showed up.
"Blake is another example." She added
"Blake? Mom, you know he's my best friend. We've talked about this before." I answered
"Oh, Maggie, people change and circumstances also change. By the way, is he coming?"
"Yes, he's on his way."
She winked and left the room. I sprayed perfume and tried to shake the thoughts out of my head, especially considering we've been hooking up for the past two weeks, and nothing has changed between our friendship. Actually, it has gotten stronger every time.
I walked outside to reunite with my family. We got to see my dad's first look. It was overwhelming how the tears of happiness ran down his face, as he hugged my sister. At the same time, it was funny how he tried to hide his red face in the family pictures.
"Come on, dad, step up your game!" I yelled hugging my little brother from behind
"Maggie, don't be an asshole!" Melina laughed, "Daddy's an emotional wreck." She continued the joke
"You just look so beautiful." He cried. Dad really was an emotional wreck
"Girls, stop teasing the cry baby, I mean, your father." Mom laughed
The photographer kept on laughing and taking millions of pictures which apparently ended up way too cute, because they were amazingly natural.
"Here comes the bride!" We heard and saw Blake entering with the brightest smile. He sure could light up a room with just his presence.
"Thank God you came Blake. These girls haven't stopped bothering me." Blake hugged my dad in between laughs
"Don't worry, uncle, your savior is finally here." He said
"Come on, join the pictures!" Mom pulled him in
