No. This can't be real. I don't have a twin. I would remember if I had a brother.

    "Why should I believe you?"

" You just need to trust me"

"You expect me to trust a strange guy who  suddenly started appearing in my dreams and asked for my help?!"

"I suspected you won't believe me..."

"Give me one good reason why I should believe you"

Silence.

"See what I mean? Stay away from me. I don't want to hear from you ever again."

And with that, Lia woke up.

"You had that strange dream again, didn't you?"  Zuly asked.

"Yeah"

"Did you tell your parents?"

"No"

"Lia, you promised!"

"I know, I know and I'm really sorry I broke my promise. But he said something really weird last night."

"What did he say?"

"He said his name is Nullion and he's my twin"

"Wow. Just wow"

"I know."

"That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard"

"Do you think I should believe him?"

"I think you should talk to your parents about this. If somebody knows it's them"

"I guess I would try and talk to them"

"Keep me updated"

"I will"

"Lia! Please! You need to listen to me! I need your help"

"I told you to stay away from me!"

"I get that you're mad, Lia. But you're the only one who can help me!"

"I already told you! I'M. NOT. HELPING. YOU."

"Lia-"

"No. Just leave me alone, would you?

"Just let me finish."

"I'll let you finish but then you need to leave me alone. Deal?"

"Okay deal."

"Now say what you have to say. You have 10 seconds."

"If you decide to help me, you can find me where the shadows gather"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I can't tell you more. Bye, Lia"

The next morning, Lia decided to ask her parents about Nullion during breakfast.

"Mom? Dad? Can I ask you something?

"Yes, of course," her mum responded.

"Do I have a twin brother?"

"Why would you ask that?"

"I just had a strange dream last night but it's probably just a dream and it means nothing. But I wanted to be sure." Nyla and Thalias shared a subtle look which Lia didn't notice.

"No, Lia. You don't have any brothers or sisters." her dad said.

Lia let out a relieved breath she didn't realize she was holding.

"It was a stupid question, wasn't it? Lia asked.

"It was. Don't ask this question again, would you?"

"I won't." the princess asked.

"Perfect. Now go and get ready. You're having a meeting with some princes today"

A/N: I know it's not very good but I hope you like it
