I wake up early and take my toy knife with me and wrap my ribbon in my head. I hum a lovely tune and use my binoculars to gaze upon the most lovely of birds. What would I see Raven gracefully weaving together a nest, a blue jay nursing young, or perhaps a Columbidae drinking water. What I find is a rotting bird covered in mushrooms and flies. The sight is vile and horrid to watch. I bury the bird and give it a better grave. I continue watching but all I can find are vultures and Crows circling an area I usually go. I decide that bird watching may need to be postponed today which is simply a shame. Pushing open the door my cardinal Gary flies over and lands on my head. I wave to the Doctor and make my self a fruit bowl and scroll through a book. I fall asleep and seemingly have the strangest arrangement of dreams. I remember waking up on a patch a of lose soft grass. I remember waking up and smell Fresh cut grass and stale water. I sit up my back sore like I rolled down a ridged stone hill and land on my back.

I sat up and walked through the first open room I could find. I continue walking forward and am faced by a woman in purple guiding me with her. Finally we stop and she leaves. I wait for her. 10 minutes go by nothing. 40 minutes go by nothing. 1 hour elapses and I am still waiting for the lady to come back. 6 hours elapse and no one comes back. 10 hours elapse and finally someone comes back but it's definitely not the lady. It's a monster who is far larger than the woman. It takes up most space and it is completely animalistic and uncaring. "I'm hungry.please I'm hungry" I step back in fear. I draw my toy knife maybe as a way to scar it off. I'm sweating and holding my knife with both of my hands on the handle. It's snarls unnaturally it looked Human but it was far from it. It moved in a fashion that was unnatural like it's body was contorting and twisting into positions that could have only been seen in a fantasy.

It lunges toward me and I lunge towards it. And in the center we both clash. I sunk my toy knife as far into the thing as possible to the point where there's blood in on it ,and yet it bit me. It stepped back wincing in pain "IM SORRY IM SORRY IM SO HUNGRY IM SORRY IM SORRY" . It but my side I'm bleeding. I run away to an open area where a balcony goes over a dark ghost town of a city. I take off my ribbon and my head covering gently ripping off parts of my clothes to stop the bleeding. The white ribbon now completely dyed red . The pain is like a burning I scream for help and beg and plead ,and the lady came back. Her worried screams and bouts of self deprecation are depressing to hear. "Why didn't you stay put?" "Because you didn't come back".

I wake up and start crying. My tears rushing down my face like I am a waterfall. I'm overflowing with emotions both good and bad. I go back outside and start breathing heavily like I'm hyperventilating. And slowly I sit down with my legs cross and pray. I grew up as a Pagan and promise that I will die a pagan. As I calm my rough beating heart I let Nyx guide my actions. I pray from evening to night. Finally I open my eyes and look to the sky where I am sitting directly below the North Star. I look around the dark area and a raven lands in front of me.
