First Kiss

Nick and Tara were sitting at the picnic tables talking to each other while Darcy and Charlie were sitting in the grass just watching them talk.

"Hey Charlie, you wanna know something that keeps me up at night?"

"Sure"

"They kissed when they were 13."

"Yeah but like you're dating Tara now and Im with Nick so."

"Yeah but those bitches didn't wait for us. They decided to go ahead and kiss and not wait for us."

Nicks pov

I could overhear their conversation. So could Tara.

"We're basically dating kids." Tara said

"For real though." I replied

"HEY DID YOU JUST CALL ME A KID?!?!?" Darcy said getting up and walking to Tara.

"Yes I did! You act like one but its cute!"

Charlie pov

Nick walked over and picked me up.

"She's a kid but you're a baby!"

"I mean if it means I don't have to walk and you'll kiss me more I don't mind!" I replied

Nick put me down.

"Ill go get the milkshakes because I know what all of you want so I'll be back!" I said as I ran off.

I went back to sit down.

"Sooo Nick, when are you gonna put a ring on his finger?" Darcy asked.

"Soon I hope. I just don't really know what he likes in jewelry. He doesn't really wear it."

"Gold." Darcy said.

Darcy and Charlie were kinda closer than he was to Tara.

"Great, thanks I'll go ring shopping in a few days."

"EEE! YOU GOTTA LET US HELP!!" Darcy said.

"I'll bring you too don't worry!" I said.

I looked over at Charlie standing there waiting for the last milkshake. When I looked at him I was memorized. He was perfect even if didn't see it. Thats why Im gonna propose next month. Charlie Nelson. Perfect.
