Nicks pov
Charlie has been acting strange lately. Like he was scared of me or something. I haven't seen him in the hallways at break or lunch anymore. I was really worried about him. I wanted to talk to him about it but I knew he would just say "Im fine."

Charlies pov
I have been trying not to act strange around Nick. Ben has been sending me threats on insta and I wasnt gonna say anything but then he said something about Nick.

Ben Hope: If you dont meet up with me today after your rugby practice, Ill do something to Nick.

Me: Fine Ill meet you. Just dont do or say anything to Nick.

Ben Hope: And cover up the bruises.

Me: Ok.

Nicks pov
Charlie was acting weird while we were changing.
"Charlie. Are you ok?" I asked

"Yeah. Im fine."

I expected that answer. I knew something was up. He was distracted all of practice and was zoning out. Practice was finally over. I was gonna see what was up with Charlie. I mean, he is my boyfriend, I want to protect him.

"Bye Nick, I love you."

"I love you Char."

He walked out the door I followed him quickly and quietly so he wouldn't notice me.

Charlies pov
I walked out the door. I was terrified to meet Ben. My hands were slightly shaking when I got to the music block.

"Charlie."

"Ben."

"You shouldn't be with Nick. If he finds out Im hitting you he'll kill me. Break up with him."

"Are you insane? Im not breaking up with him just because you have been hitting me and your scared of getting the shit beaten out of you when it would be your own fault!"

Nicks pov
I could hear him talking to Ben. I couldn't believe it. Ben had been hitting him.

"Charlie you dont get it. I hit you because Im trying to help you."

I heard him push Charlie against a wall.

"Get off me Ben!"

"I really like you Charlie."

Charlies pov
He pushed me against a wall and even though I told him to get off he started to kiss me. I was trying to get him off but Im too weak and small.

"S-stop! Get of-f!"

Suddenly someone grabbed him and started beating the shit out of him.

Nick came in and started beating the absolute shit out of me.

I could feel each punch on my face, and each kick to my stomach.

Someone made Nick stop.

I never wanted to stop hitting him, but Charlie pulled me off.

"Nick stop!"

"Fine. If he even touches you again, its gonna be worse than this."

Ben stood up with a face covered in blood and ran home.

I love Nick so much. He just beat the shit out of someone for me.

"Nick, why did you do that?"

"Because he was hitting you and sexually assaulting you. Im not just going to let that happen Char."

Nicks pov

He was still in shock and my knuckles hurt like hell but it was worth it. It's always worth it for Charlie.

"Nick, what if he gotten up and started hitting you?"

"Pfft! Please, does he play rugby? No. Does he actually have any muscles? No. He couldn't hurt me Charlie, trust me."

"Ok, can I stay the night at your house tonight?"

"Yeah of course! My mum probably wont mind."

"Ok."

"Lets go. My mum is probably waiting."

We walked out holding hands and talking about how much of a bitch Ben was. I could borrow some of Elles make up to cover it until it heals but for now Im gonna spend some time with my boyfriend.
