"Why are you here?" Dinah squinted her eyes.

"For Megan." Normani laid her head on Megan's shoulder and the girl rolled her eyes.

"You and Baelani needs to back up off of me." Megan pushed the girl's head away from her.

"What's my nickname?" Normani moved Megan's hand with a smirk.

"Normani Korbae." Megan revealed.

"Nice to meet you Megan." Dinah held out her hand and Megan shook it.

"Likewise...?" Megan trailed off.

"Dinah." Dinah introduced.

"Dinah." Megan nodded and Dinah sat down before setting up her laptop.

"You think you already got a beat?" Kehlani laid on Megan and Normani's lap.

"I know I do." Dinah turned to her and clenched her jaw.

"That's sweet but I want something original." Megan instructed.

"They are all original." Dinah stated.

"I mean from scratch, make one right now." Megan ushered.

"Oh." Dinah turned back around and opened her software.

"Up for the task?" Megan smirked.

"I did it before so." Dinah tapped on the drums and changed the type.

"What are those plates on the drums called?" Kehlani snapped her fingers.

"Did you just call em plates?" Normani giggled.

"Well what are they called?" Kehlani asked.

"Cymbals." Dinah and Normani both answered and Kehlani looked at Megan.

"They are in sync again." Kehlani noted.

"Shut up." Normani pushed Kehlani off of her.

"Ah!" Kehlani yelped as she fell onto the ground.

"Deserved." Normani crossed her arms.

"Children please." Megan rubbed her temples.

"I'm done." Dinah announced as she held up the headphone.

"Just play the beat." Megan gestured and Dinah unplugged the headphones before playing the beat.

"Ooh." Kehlani got up and began vibing with it.

"Do you like it?" Megan asked Normani.

"Could be better." Normani huffed.

"Okay let's use it." Megan clapped her hands as she got up to go to the booth.

"'Cuse me?" Normani scoffed in shock.

"If you don't like it then it must be good." Megan put on the headphones as she ushered for Dinah to get everything ready.

"Just because I don't like Dinah doesn't mean I think her tracks are terrible. I'm being 100% unbiased." Normani rambled and Megan rolled her eyes.

"Unbiased or not, I'm using it." Megan shrugged as Dinah began the beat.

It took them half of day to finish since Megan was a strict person, Normani had fell asleep and Kehlani was just returning with some food.

"You sharing?" Dinah muttered to Kehlani.

"Hell nah." Kehlani chuckled as she sat down next to Normani.

"Damn." Dinah fake weep.

Kehlani pulled out her phone and scrolled through Instagram before looking over at Normani who stirred slightly. So of course, she thought it would be fun to mess with the girl. Kehlani got up and waved her hand in front of Normani's face to see Normani not budge. Kehlani smirked and leaned in but Normani's phone going off made Kehlani pull away as Normani jolted awake.

"Dinah why are you calling me?" Normani growled and Dinah laughed.

"To annoy you." Dinah looked at Kehlani with a cold stare telling her to get away from the girl and Kehlani sucked her teeth, sitting back down next to Normani.

"Hello??? Can you restart the track?" Megan asked clearly annoyed.

"Right my fault." Dinah stretched as she does so.

Normani got up and sat down next to Dinah before placing the headphones on.

"Megan you made so many verses, can we call it a day?" Normani pressed the button to speak causing Megan to stop rapping.

"No." Megan huffed.

"Ugh." Normani curled up in her chair and rested her head on her legs.

"Restart the track?" Dinah questioned.

"Yep." Megan nodded.

It hit midnight and that also meant that they had being working on one song for 12 hours. Megan had finally gotten it right and was ready to go home.

"You're done?" Dinah wondered.

"Yep, thanks Dinah. Can you take her home?" Megan took the flash drive that Dinah held out for her.

"Yeah I got it." Dinah looked at Normani before packing up her stuff, grabbing Normani stuff as well.

After finishing packing, Megan waited for Dinah to pick up the shorter girl and carry her out of the studio. Her and Dinah said their goodbyes and parted ways. Dinah, with a struggle, opened the passenger door and set Normani down before throwing her duffle bag into the truck and getting into her car herself. With a sigh, she pulled off towards Normani's house. Once arriving, she opened Normani's house with Normani's house keys then grabbed the girl and carried her to her bedroom. Dinah sighed as she accomplished carrying Normani to her room. But the sound of thunder woken Normani up and she yawned then saw Dinah standing there with an annoyed look on her face.

"I'm home?" Normani looked around as she rubbed her eye.

"Yes." Dinah responded as she adjusted herself to go back outside.

"Okay...thank you." Normani yawned again.

"You're welcome." Dinah began leaving.

"You're leaving?" Normani furrowed her eyebrows.

"Yes, I know you want me gone." Dinah clarified as she was about to head down the stairs.

"It's about to be a bad storm though." Normani pointed out.

"Huh?" Dinah questioned, confused on what that had to do with anything.

"You can stay if you don't want to get caught in the storm, it's pretty late as well." Normani explained.

"Huh?" Dinah repeated.

"Are you staying or not?" Normani ran her hands through her hair.

"Uh, sure." Dinah swallowed the lump in her throat as she took off her shoes and began making her way downstairs.

Normani got up to see Dinah take off her hoodie and socks to then lay down on the couch. Normani makes her way downstairs and throw a pillow at Dinah causing Dinah to grab the object before it hit her on her face. A few minutes later, Normani was standing in front of Dinah who eyes were about to shut.

"Here." Normani held out a blanket with some food causing Dinah to sit up.

"What's this?" Dinah looked at the plate in confusion.

"Dinner." Normani sits down next to Dinah as she turns on the TV.

"Why?" Dinah wondered.

"I know you haven't eaten all day so." Normani mentions and Dinah blushed.

"Well, okay then. Thanks." Dinah hid her smile as she began eating, instantly falling in love with the food (🌚 yes the "food").
