I woke up the my head on Eddie's chest. I got a little flustered when I noticed it but I didn't make an effort to move. He must've already been awake for a while because he was playing with a little bit of my hair; whether that be on purpose or just a nervous habit, I don't know.

I pushed myself up off the boy and sat next to him, still covered in tarps.

"Were you.. playing with my hair?" I smiled.

He looked around nervously before spitting out, "I'm sorry."

"No, No, it's fine, it kinda felt nice," I looked at him.

He smiled at me.

Was I flirting with him? I mean, he was obviously really cute and comforting and after what we both witnessed last night I felt closer to him more now than ever.

"So how'd you sleep?," I asked him.

"How could I?," he said, "After seeing that, all I could do was stay up all night and make sure you got some sleep," he finished.

"You didn't have to," I said.

"Y/n, you watched one of your closest friends die last night, I think you needed the rest more than I did. Besides, you're pretty cute when you sleep." He looked down.

I could feel my face turn hot as I also looked down.

"Shit," I said.

"What is it?" he asked.

"I left my walkman at your house, now the cops are definitely gonna think we both killed her," I said.

He patted my back, "it'll be okay, we'll find a way out of this," he said as he took a swallow of a beer he must've found stowed away in here.

"ugh no and my mixtape," I looked down sad.

"I'm sorry y/n," he said as he set the drink down.

I sighed as I laid back down in the boat.

"What're we gonna do with ourselves," I said.

"We could play truth of dare," he suggested.

I rolled my eyes playfully, "yeah sure," I responded.

"Okay, truth or dare," he started.

"Dare," I said.

"I dare you to chug this whole beer in 10 seconds," he said.

"Challenge accepted," I said as I took the beer and finished it off in 9 seconds.

"Damn girl," he laughed.

I put my hands up to celebrate my victory.

"Your turn, truth or dare," I said to Eddie.

"Truth," he said.

"Why are you so different from how people describe you?" I asked him.

"People don't take their time to get to know 'The freak', not that I would want them too anyways," he answered, taking another sip of his beer.

"That's understandable," I said.

"Ok truth or dare," He said.

"Dare, taking the hard route this time," I said.

He paused for a moment to think.
