Art doesn't belong to me.

You've been in love with Alma Peregrine since the first day you met her. You wanted to confess your feelings a lot of times, but you always found an excuse why it's not the good time. But, finally you decided that was the right day.

She was in good mood, children behaved well.

So you tried in the morning. She was preparing breakfast for everyone.

While you were waiting, you nervously cracked your fingers and started shaking your leg.

She said in cheerfull tone and gave you a plate with pancakes. She also added strawberry sauce. She made a little heart with it. She winked and came back to doing other meals. She called kids and that's how you missed occasion number one.

Second time you could tell her was during the walk. She told Emma to lead the rest of kids and stopped to pick flowers. You decided to wait for her. It was really perfect occasion, romantic atmosphere. She gave you the flowers with huge smile.

Of course!

You clumsily hugged her and awkwardly chased the rest of the group.

Shit, why you were so fucking clingy!

The rest of the day you were angry at yourself. Ms Peregrine spotted that but didn't want to make you feel any kind of pressure.

Ok, children it's time!

She called everyone for reset. When you all took your places, she gave a signal to put on gas masks. You watched everyone do that and nervously clenched your fingers on your mask.

Alma?

She didn't hear you and turned around, paying attention to her clock.

It clearly wasn't the best time. But you finally did it. Propably some kind of pressure caused by resetting the loop, motivated you.

She turned away and ripped her mask off.

She looked at her clock panicked. She almost failed resetting the loop properly because of your confession.

When it was done, she ran to you and hugged you.

I love you to silly. But you have really bad timing.

You hugged her tighter. You closed your eyes, inhaling her scent. Finally you've done it and more importantly, succed.
