Prologue
"Are we really gonna visit mamita in the province?" Luis—my older brother asked our parents.
Its been a years since we last visit the province and of course mamita—mom's mother. And I missed her so much.
"Yes," dad answered.
"When?"
"On Saturday morning. So, please, settle your schedules tomorrow so that you both have time to pack your things." Mommy said after chewing her food and drunk her glass of water.
"May meeting pa ako sa Saturday with this important client, mom, dad," kuya Luis uttered.
Napatingin ako sa kay kuya Luis. "Can't you cancel it for mamita?" I asked him.
He shooked his head. "No, I can't."
"Well, then, finish all you need to finish at sumunod ka nalang sa province.
"Its been a year since we last visited her there, your mamita's misses the both of you and your cousins too. Don't you miss them?" mommy asked using her soothing and very motherly voice.
And beside I really missed mamita and cousins as well." Nakangiti kong sabi.
"Fine! I'll try to come with you on that day." Kuya Luis said.
Kaya ngayon, ang saya saya ko dahil sa matutuloy na kami and I will make sure I'll make it up to mamita at sa ibang relatives namin na naroon.
I closed my eyes as I remembered the last memory I have to the province when we last visited there and it was so very peaceful and I can't wait to be there again. Can't wait!
The next, I wake up with a smile that plastered on my lips. I yawned as I lifted my both arms in the air.
"Good morning!" I greeted using my bedroom voice as I climbed out of the bed and went inside my bathroom to do my morning routines.
