Lucy didn't know how she had gotten to bed the night before, all she knew was that if she didn't get out of it in the next second she was going to throw up.

"Lucy?" Sawyer stirred next to her as she frantically flew to her feet and took off towards the bathroom, slamming the door behind her.

"Oh, Merlin," Sawyer sighed, getting up to go after her.

"Are you alright?" He asked with a knock.

"Yeah." She gagged.

"Let me in." He called.

"No."

He didn't listen, because the next second the door clicked open and he knelt down on the bathroom floor beside her, holding up her hair in one hand, rubbing her back with the other.

"I drank too much," she groaned, resting her forehead on the toilet, "I feel like death."

"It's alright," Sawyer said soothingly, "just get it all out and then we'll get you a potion."

Lucy nodded weakly, "I think I'm good."

"You sure?" He asked, smoothing down her hair.

"Yeah," she sat up with a deep breath, "can you get me water too? Please?"

"Yeah, I'll be right back." He kissed the top of her head.

Not even a minute after he left, Draco came sprinting in.

"Move! Move!" He said desperately with a hand over his mouth.

When she didn't respond quickly enough, he practically body slammed her to the side before doubling over the toilet.

"Gross, Draco." Lucy groaned, holding her head in her hands, leaning against the bathroom wall.

Draco tried to bite back a snarky response, but instead he gagged and turned his attention back to the toilet.

Lucy's face scrunched in disgust, but she patted his back nonetheless.

He groaned and leaned back against the wall, closing his eyes tightly.

"I'm never drinking again." He vowed.

"Don't say that," Lucy smiled, "you had fun? Didn't you?"

A small smile graced his lips, "I did, yeah."

"We got through a war, Draco," Lucy grabbed his hand, "it's time to live a little I reckon."

"I think I want to dye my hair." Draco groaned, "just because I can...some random arse color too."

"I think a nice pastel would suit you." Lucy mused, "maybe a baby blue?"

Draco seemed to consider that suggestion, "maybe."

Sawyer returned with two potions and glasses of water.

"Saw Draco rush in here." He explained, handing each of them one.

"Cheers." Draco said, drinking it quickly.

"Hermione and Harry are making breakfast." Sawyer said, "you should come down and eat something."

"Yeah in a minute," Lucy said smiling up at her fiancé, "give us a second, yeah?"

"Yeah." Sawyer nodded, "come down when you're ready."

"Thanks, Love." Lucy said grateful for sheer acceptance with a lack of any question.

"You want to talk about last night?" Draco asked.

"I do." Lucy sat up straighter, feeling much better with the hangover potion in her system. "Is that something you've been thinking about for a while then?"

Draco shook his head. "Haven't put much thought into it since fourth year I suppose...the war took up most of the space in my mind. I honestly didn't think I was going to survive to see the other side of it...my sexuality didn't seem all too important."

Lucy let out a harsh breath, "you've said that before." She said quietly, "that you didn't expect to live...that's a horrible thing to have weighing on you for so long Draco."

He shrugged, "you helped me a lot actually, Luce, after I ran away from home and everything. You gave me support and family and I'm so grateful and proud that I can call you my sister."

"Awe," Lucy laughed through a sob, "I love you, you know that, right?"

"I know." Draco whispered, pulling her into a tight embrace on the bathroom floor.

They were quiet for a minute, savoring the moment.

"A lot of things happening in bathrooms this trip." Draco observed.

Lucy snorted, sitting up, "how'd you even manage last night? Did a random guy just take you to the bathrooms?"

"I was perfectly conscious and willing." Draco assured her quickly, picking out the question and the guilt in her words, "it was mutual I promise. I don't really know how it happened, he was flirting and I liked it? Everything just happened naturally from there...as you saw."

"I did." Lucy's eyebrows raised at the memory, "I did see. Too much, actually."

"You're the one who burst through the door." Draco flushed furiously.

"Not my best moment." Lucy admitted, pushing herself to her feet, "c'mon, lets get food."

"Lets." Draco agreed, taking her offered hand to get up.

Much like them, the rest of the group was hungover and didn't make it out of their pajamas until well after noon.

"It's so nice here," Ginny commented as they spread their blanket out on the sandy beach. "I used to hate coming here...my Aunt Muriel didn't care too much for children, I never realized how nice it actually was."

"I like it too," Harry grinned, white suntan lotion bright against his tanned skin.

"I wouldn't be opposed to moving to the coast?" Ginny proposed.

"I think that sounds like a brilliant idea," he dropped down to kiss her, smearing the lotion across her face.

"You lot have to come spend the hols at mine this year." Neville said, "I've got enough room for everyone."

"Where do you live? Neville?" Sawyer asked.

"Orkney islands," Neville said.

"Scotland is superior to England." Lucy stated, matter-of-factly.

Neville fist bumped her while the rest rolled their eyes.

"Yeah? Well we don't sound funny when we talk." Ron stuck out his tongue.

"Oi! Scottish accents are rightly charming, right, Luna?"

"Rightly." She agreed.

"Thank you." Neville smiled, "I haven't been home in a year, I miss it."

"I'm sure we can do Christmas there," Hermione smiled.

"Yeah," Ginny agreed, "the Burrow is running out of room for everyone."

"Is the water cold?" Luna asked as Sawyer and Harry waded waist deep into to ocean.

"Hardly," Sawyer said before dipping under the water.

"It's bloody boiling out here," Ginny fanned herself, kicking off her sandals and stripping off her shorts.

Lucy watched her run into the water and tackle Harry, both of them falling just as the wave broke.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

This is how it should be.

No war. No death.

Just this.

It was perfect.

"Come on, Lu!" Sawyer called.

Lucy's lips pulled into a smile but she didn't respond.

A moment later she was being lifted into the air and thrown into the waves.

Perfect.
