"Seth," I whisper.
"It's okay," he kisses me on the head. We walk towards the scary voice that just shouted at us.
"Please step forward!! Do you understand what you have just done to MY property? Spray painting on unowned property is a criminal offence. Now, I could turn you guys in, or, I could let you off with a warning and pretend this never happened. It WON'T happen again, will it?" We shake our heads in unison, "that's what I thought. Now, run along and don't EVER come back."
I let out a big breath of relief. That guy was the most creepiest looking guys ever. He had a grey mullet, wrinkles coated his entire face, it looked like he hadn't shaved in a week and his clothes were ratty and torn up. I also noticed a scar near his right temple. The thought of him gave me goosebumps.

Once we're back into the streets, I decide to speak up first.
"Seth, I almost got turned in! Weren't you the least bit scared of that guy? Like, what if my parents found out. I would've lost my good standing!" I say loudly with an upsetting tone.
"I wasn't scared of all. In fact, it have me an adrenaline rush. Don't you feel the excitement rush through you just as you're about to get in trouble? I thought it was fun," he replies all chill.
"Oh I felt an adrenaline rush alright," I say very sarcastically with an upset tone to my voice.
"Before you flip even more, just think of all the fun we had. We did something bad and we didn't get in trouble," he says trying to persuade me into thinking this was all okay.
"Yeah, it was fun for the first five minutes. But after that, I felt uneasy. I don't like doing illegal things. Maybe that's what you like to do, but not so much me," I answer sounding more sad than mad. Seth pulls me in closer to him and kisses my cheek.
"Tomorrow's the last day of school and we're going to that party at the lake," he whispers changing the subject.
"I guess I'll go. But..Seth?"
"What?"
"I just want to have fun while being safe. Promise me you won't do anything that's considered a 'criminal offence'?" I question quietly. Seth looks at the ground.
"Maybe..I just want to have fun. I have to live these years you know. College is coming up next year and I won't be here to make memories. So, if I get in trouble, screw it. At least when I'm forty, I'll look back and have stories to tell," he answers somewhat making a point.
"I guess if you look at it that way," I finally say staring at a stop sign ahead of us.
"That's my girl."
I secretly didn't really like all of this, but I liked Seth and he is somewhat right. We have to live these last years before we're adults. We won't have any stories to tell. We won't be able to look back at all of the rebellious pictures we took. When we have children of our own, what do we say when they ask us about our teen years? Seth somewhat has a point. I don't speak of anything else for awhile. Neither does Seth.

When we reach a busier street, we get a cab to take us to our subdivision road.
"I'll see you tomorrow," I say getting out of the cab, "text me when you're on your way to pick me up."
"Will do, cutie," Seth replies giving me a wink. I smile and blush as I walk up to my house. I check the time on my iPhone and notice that it was nine fifty six. My parents were going to KILL me. As I shut the door softly and head to my room, my parents are already asleep. I breathe a big sigh of relief and walked to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I pull my long, dark brown hair back in a pony tail and take off all my smudged makeup. After I clean myself up a bit, I change into an oversized, old camp teeshirt and some nike pro shorts.
Just as I'm about to hop into bed, I get a text message:

Mom: Don't expect to be going to ANYTHING tomorrow. :) <3
