"Isn't it better to be who I am?" I said, as I looked into the mirror and saw a stranger. The stranger was a princess who looked extremely beautiful. The princess was dressed in the finest of ball gowns, with not even a spot on her fair skin. My long hair was twisted and turned around to form the most immaculate of buns. I, the princess, was drowning under the weight of it all and couldn't breathe.

The conundrum was that the princess wanted to be a knight today. Maybe a priestess or a songstress for tomorrow and so on. So, the princess shed her skin and I was finally myself again, being able to breathe.

I traced every scar and spot on my brown skin, reminiscing the forgotten days of childhood. I dressed up in my armour, with my sword resting in the glided scabbard hanging at my waist. Finally, I was a knight. As I twirled around and admired myself, I happily exclaimed "Isn't it wonderful to be who I am?!".
