I don't remember falling asleep but I woke up some time later. The sun was starting to go down. The other finally returned a few minutes after I woke up. Mal and Uma were slowly warming up to each other. Well as much as they could while simultaneously sending small empty threats to one another whenever they got the chance to do so. Which was practically second nature to them. Evie was clearly happy about this while the rest of them could've cares less about them whether they got along or not as long as Audrey was stopped since that was our main problem.

I guess that was the reason why they aren't nitpicking at each other every second of every hour. At least we can get this thing over with sooner so I don't have to be in this very sunny place much longer. It's nice and all but not my ideal type of place to live at. Some people may like it. But I don't. I'm not the type of person to go for a fairytale ending or the cheesy romance these people look for. I guess that's why Evie asked me for advice earlier instead of lizard junior.

They filled me in on what's going to happen. Which was pretty vague but enough for me to understand. It was only sunset. They needed to sleep and I couldn't sleep since I took a long nap. They voted me to keep watch. This was only for a little while though. Maybe like an hour or two since they planned to find Audrey at night. But I don't have a good feeling about this. One thing anyone could learn from the Isle is to trust your gut. Or learn the hard way like Snow White. Or most princesses around here.

Okay so we're just looking around to see if Audrey is at the school. It was dark out since it's already night. They wanted to do a surprise attack or something. I wasn't really paying any attention while they were explaining the plan to me. All I was really informed about was being the bait. Sad really but there wasn't any point in arguing. Besides I get to mess with the evil fairy princess again. Maybe even get a new record for making someone mad. My fastest time so far is forty seconds. The person to get mad was my dad.

I didn't do much to him. The only thing I did was accidentally set one or two voodoo dolls on fire. Nothing that bad. Besides who leaves a six year old unsupervised with matches and dolls anyway. So that was on him for leaving that stuff there within my reach. Anyways we were on our way to the school. It was pretty boring. Nothing really happened while we walked there. I had to keep an eye on Harry since Jay didn't want to keep replacing everyone's money with his own. And the fact I can keep him occupied for a while.

While everyone was up in further groups Harry and I were behind them. Not by a lot though so we could still keep up with their conversation of how the Isle was doing. I listened in when I heard Freddie's name. Other than that I mostly ignored them and their touchy feelly conversation of their perspectives on the Isle. Because they had different lives Mal's group was the wanna be bad and Uma's crew were the wishing to be pirates. The only difference between the two was how they were raised. Other than that they're the same thing.

But the peace only lasted for so long. "Can't wait to see the people on the Isle once they're free." Mal stopped walking and faced Uma. "Um guys I've been meaning to tell you something." We all stopped and looked at Mal. "What's the problem this time? Chipped a nail?" I know this is supposed to be serious but I can't help but lighten up the mood a bit. A few people chuckled but I mainly received blank stares from the newly found Auradonians. I smiled though. "The program for villian kids to come here was shut down as of recently."

I stopped smiling and stared at her. Everyone seemed shocked at her statement. "What do you mean it's shut down? You can't just do that!" Uma snapped. Harry and Gil walked to Uma's side followed by me. I wasn't a pirate but they considered me apart of their crew. "You mean to tell me we've been helping you. Only for your own damn benefit!" I was glaring at Mal. She was taken back by my outburst. "So wha' do we ge' in r'turn fer all this." Mal looked ashamed of herself. Her silence was all we needed to know.

Uma stormed off and threw something into the water that sizzled. Harry followed her. Jay, Carlos, and Evie gave her disbelieving looks before going in the opposite direction of the pirates. Mal looked at me with a desperate look. "Why did you lie to everyone?" She cried and started telling her part of the story from the beginning. When she finished I was ready to leave her like everyone else did. "You only did it because you were scared?!" She flinched still not used to me yelling. "I get it you and Uma don't like each other but this is low."

I turned to go in the direction my pirate group until I heard Mal say something. "Wait!" I turned around and frowned at her. "There isn't anything you can do now princess. Who knew you'd turn out to be like the rest of them. You lied to get your way. You cheated a whole lot of people out of their freedom. And you only defend yourself with the fact of being scared of something that probably wouldn't have happened! And now you get to deal with consequences of your own actions. I hope your happy with yourself. You're no better than the rest of them."

I turned around and left to go find Uma, Gil, and Harry. They probably waited for me in a nearby area but still far enough away from the liar. And this only happens when I just start to think she might be different than all the other princesses. Guess I was wrong about her. You can't trust anyone in this place.

Hello readers. Sorry this chapter took a while to come out. I was kind of running off of whatever creativity I could muster up. Plus my dogs getting into trouble the past week. Also should I do a special chapter for this book? It's pride month and I also wanted to do something for reaching over 2k reads on my first book. Let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks for reading and I'll see you in the next chapter. Bye~
