Thank you to everyone who read this story! I really hope you enjoyed it!
I was gonna keep this short and sweet, but there was something I kinda wanted to talk about.
It's Pride month as many of you know. As a queer person it means a lot to me, and obviously does to a lot of people. A few days ago, my mum asked me to help her write a Pride post for her works linkedin page. But after requesting permission to post it, they said 'it's not a battle worth fighting.'
I know most companies don't actually care about queer people, and just post these messages to get more customers, by pretending they actually care. Though, at this point, it's kinda the bare minimum.
That company is blatantly saying they don't support the LGBTQ+ community, and it really hurt me. I started crying, and at first, I didn't understand why. I think what's hard to accept is that these people have such horrible views, and that they'll never get called out for it.
I want everyone to know that you are valid, and I support you! If anyone ever needs someone to speak to, I'm here to talk. Happy Pride!
Hope everyone has a lovely day/night🥰
Bye for now!
