Waking up at 3:00 am because my parasite wanted chocolate and tater tots is not the life. But then again I sorta have him to thank for me meeting the amazing people I like to call family. Let's back up for a second here so I can introduce myself properly the names Aria, Aria Fletcher. I live in- "Who are you talking to" I paused and took a deep breath as the deep voice in my head interrupted me. That's my parasite Venom" I AM NOT A PARASITE!!" he can be a pain in the ass sometimes but he's hard not to love.
I know I know most of you are asking "Well Aria how did you get this annoying loveable parasite that you like to call a friend cause you're that fucking lonely". Just give me a minute and ill answer you.
Flashback
I was inside some lab I know I'm not supposed to be in here but I need these pictures you know being an investigative journalist and all. Walking down the hallway in one of the lab coats I stole I don't know exactly what I need to be looking for but my boss said something interesting.
Realizing I had zoned out while walking I noticed I was lost. Not knowing what to do I was about to turn back a loud alarm started blaring and red lights turned on everywhere. Not knowing what it was and also not wanting to be caught I ducked behind the first door I seen labeled "Containment Zone S DO NOT ENTER" in big red letters I know I shouldn't go in here but I don't know who these people are and what they are capable of.
So against my better judgment, I went. Inside the room, it was pure white all around, and in the middle of the room it was pure white all around in the middle of the room was this machine that had 4 different containers all with a different colored goop in it one White one a Grey-ish color the third one red, and the last one Midnight black. What are these things I thought to myself as I was walking closer the entire building shook making the canisters fall and break open.
The goop started to move towards me as I took corresponding steps back I hear footsteps outside the room increase as my back was almost to the door. Praying to god that they cleared the hallway before these blobs touched me but it seemed that my prayers wouldn't be answered any time soon as the footsteps seemingly got louder.
As I closed my eyes and tilted my head back ready to accept my fat not knowing what these things were able to do I realized that the footsteps had completely stopped. Taking that as my chance I opened the door and sprinted out not knowing where to go just running and not looking back. I eventually reached an exit and left the building my dumbassery taking over my instincts I stopped and looked back seeing the avengers fight the people surrounding the building.
I had never seen them in person before so I took a picture hoping it would excuse my boss from being too angry at me for not getting any pictures of anything inside the facility. In the midst of trying to get a good angle a big ass tank drove out of the building why a science building has a tank, I don't know why I didn't run I also don't know but the next thing I knew a small missile had flown out of it I thought this was the end of me. So I once again closed my eyes awaiting the sweet release of death. But it never came just air and not warm air.
I opened my eyes to see that I was not where I was previously standing. I looked up to see a mop of silver hair and green eyes staring right back at me " Are you okay Princessa?" he asked with a raised brow. Of course, I knew who he was this was the one and only Pietro Maximoff not trusting my starstruck self enough to open my mouth and answer I only nodded receiving one in response before he was gone just as quick as he came.
As I stood there for at least another five minutes trying to collect myself and process what happened I failed to realize that the midnight black piece of goop had decided to tag along.
