We Are Venom (ON HOLD)

Chapter 3

     I awoke the next morning to a knocking on my door I rolled over and picked up my phone that was on 10% I made a mental note to charge it later. Looking at the time I saw it was 7:00 in the morning getting increasingly annoyed because I never woke up before 12:00 most days due to my love for sleep. "Who the hell is beating on the door this early in the morning?" V said inside my head being cautious of the fact that neither of us knew who was on the other side of door number one.

    Getting up out of the bed I walked towards the door and opened it. On the other side was the Pirate from Spongebob the first words out of his mouth when he saw me were "We're leaving for the tower in 10 minutes get ready". "May every chip in every can of pringles you open be crushed" was my response to him taking that as an okay he left and I closed the door.

    Walking to where I put my bag I pulled out my clothes and started to get ready putting on my jeans, a white tank top, a red flannel, and my red black and white Jordan 1s getting lost in my thoughts as I mindlessly moved around the room I thought back to when I first met V.

Flashback

    As I walked back into my apartment from that disaster of a photoshoot that I kinda needed to keep my job I decided to just go to sleep. Going to pull my shirt off and change into my sleep clothes I threw the shirt onto the floor not really caring where it landed cause the room was already fucked up. Looking at the shirt I saw what looked like a trail of midnight black slime.

     Not wanting to accept the fact that one of the blobs may have touched me because nothing was happening I went into the bathroom to splash cold water on my face as a substitute for my normally long and complicated face routine. Yes, I have a face routine as hard as it may be to believe I was not just born with all this natural beauty. I looked in the mirror and to my surprise and horror, I did not see my reflection staring back at me. It was something completely different it had a black face long and completely white eyes and pupils but even more shockingly it had long pointy yellow teeth and what looked like a damn near-foot-long tongue.

       I screamed in shock and backed away from the mirror I kept silent not knowing what to do and also trying to will my legs away from the mirror and convince myself that this was all a bad dream. The next thing I knew I was speaking to it "What are you" I asked while reaching toward the unknown face in the mirror. "I am Venom" it responded "I am a symbiote I come from the planet Klyntar," he said for some reason I found myself responding to it " What happened to your planet? Why are you on earth? Are we in danger?" I fired off questions faster than he had time to comprehend. " My planet was destroyed not many of us made it off just me and a few others." He said not bothering to answer my other questions.

      "Those other three goops where they symbiotes too?" I asked finding myself needing more information for some reason. "Yes, but they weren't good they wanted to inhabit your body and force you to destroy your world". Too stunned to speak for a moment I just looked at him but it seemed as though I didn't need to say anything because he kept speaking. "Now no need to panic I seen the building blow up and since fire is one of the only things that can kill us I'm pretty sure that they're dead". Letting out a relieved breath I looked at him and asked " Then what do you need from me?". He paused for a moment I guess to figure out how to word what he said next "I need your body". I froze in shock then the regular snarky sarcastic me came back " What do you mean because I'm sure that your tongue would feel great but I'm not exactly up for sex with an alien". I replied with a raised brow what he did next kind of hurt my feelings if I'm being honest. 

        He recoiled like I was the most repulsive thing on the planet and looked as if if he had to go that far with me he'd kill himself before he'd even think about it. Shaking his head hard enough to cause a normal person a mild concussion he replied with "No not in that way" with a disgusted tone. He continued and said, " On this planet, we need a host to live I have already gone so long without one I fear if you don't let me then I will die much sooner than id care to".

      For some reason, I found myself not able to decline his offer in the short time we had been talking I guess he had grown on me figuratively and literally. So I accepted next thing I know a head comes out of my shoulder and there is a long wet strip on my cheek. Looking to the side I see Venom and a disgusted sound comes from my mouth "What was that and why did you do it" I half screamed somewhat already over it but still needing to let him know not to do it again.

      "It was a lick and I did it to show how thankful I was, I thought that was obvious but I guess some people are just that ungrateful," he says with a sassy tone sounding more and more like me with each word. I laughed and told him to never do that again. And walked away from the mirror to spend the rest of the night talking to my new friend.   

End Flashback

Snapping out of my trance I looked at the clock and saw that I had 5 minutes left to get to Furry knowing that I would probably get lost and be late I sat on the bed for the last 5 minutes knowing that me being late would piss Fury off to no end. A few minutes after my time was up there was a knock on the door.

I got up and opened the door to see the same agent that had shown me to this room yesterday. Giving her a bright smile as a greeting I quickly learned she was not the type when she just gave me a cold stare turned and walked. "Well good morning to you too" was my annoying response to her cold nature. Catching up to her and assuming that she was as easy to piss off as fury I started to babble about how many muscles it takes to frown.

Looking up after a while I see a humongous jet sitting in front of me. It seems that Venom was as much in awe as I was because he came out and said " That thing is humongous" taking a pause he looked at me and said "Do you think we could eat everyone on it?". Laughing at his random question I got on the jet and sat down in front of the dark pirate himself guessing i had pissed him off enough I decided to just stay quiet.

But as the jet took off I realized that my phone was dead and I had nothng to do sitting in directly in front of him was not the best idea. I say this because the more I looked at him the more he looked like batman and loosing the last bit of restraint I had I got his attention and asked him " Was batman mad when you stole his suit or did you just give him the one eye glare and he let it go?". Not getting an answer i just turned and wondered what they would say when they seen me?
