On March 3, 1969, the United States Navy established an elite school for the top 1% of its pilots. Its purpose was to teach the lost art of aerial combat and to insure that the handful of men who graduated were the best fighter pilots in the world.
They succeeded.
Today, the Navy calls it Fighter Weapons School. The flyers call it 𝐓𝐎𝐏 𝐆𝐔𝐍.

𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍 had moved on with her life. She graduated from Top Gun and built herself a successful career from the ground up. But 5 years later, she got sent orders to return to Top Gun for unknown reasons. Of course she graduated top of her class, so there is no unknown reason why she was wanted back. She was the 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭.
Upon returning May runs into people she thought she would never see again. Its easy to rekindle her friendships with some of them. But seeing her childhood best friend after 5 years, it was evident 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐝. Overtime feelings start developing, but both Riot and Rooster are too stubborn to let them surface.
Will they learn to communicate before their high stakes mission or will they let their feelings 𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦?
