Reena felt Rocky's constant gaze but didn't say anything. A warm breeze blew by inducing a yawn from her and she plamed her mouth Rocky queried her, "Bangaram velli padukuntava ?" She glanced at him briefly downing her hand.

(Are you sleepy Bangaram ?)

Without saying a word she placed a small cushion in his lap, and rested her head on it lying down on the couch. Rocky looked down at her with astonishment and she said with closed eyes, "Naaku niddarostundi. Stay quiet."

(I'm sleepy. Stay quiet)

Rocky smiled, "Okay Bangaram. As you wish." Reena smiled hearing that and Rocky hesitated a bit to pat her head. Reena turned on her side after a few minutes, facing him and grabbed his right hand that was resting on the couch.

She clutched it in her hold in a half sleepy state. Throwing away his hesitancy, he patted her head steadily like how his mother used to do for him while putting him to sleep.

A serenity enveloped Reena at his act. This was something she wished to do with her father. To sleep, keeping her head in her father's lap which never happened.

But now having that moment with Rocky brought a sense of joy to her heart. She felt secured and untouchable under his guard, slipping into a blissful sleep.

Once her breathing was steady indicating her asleep, Rocky whistled lowly making Ranga come out off his hideout. He gestured to Ranga to bring a blanket and Ranga immediately brought one. Giving it to Rocky, he went away from there to his house.

Rocky covered Reena with the blanket and tucked her in. This was the first time he has seen a different side of Reena. First time to get a glimpse of what she feels for him.

She likes him. Cared for him. Wishes for his well being. Get angry at him. Scolds him. He couldn't ask for more at the moment. But he is greedy to get more in the future.

As he said to his partners, "Greed is good. Greed is Progress." Especially if it is the greed to get her love. Then it's better than good. Best in fact. He grinned relaxing back, watching Reena sleep and stretched his legs without disturbing her. He continued patting her head while his other hand stayed in hers.

Next morning Reena woke up feeling rejuvenated than ever in the two months she came here. She slowly opened her eyes and the sight of Rocky was an added cherry on the cake.

A confused smile made it's way on her face seeing his hand gestures. Her gaze followed his hand and saw Ranga, Mallamma, Vittal and Vanaram listening to him. He was talking lowly, "Pillaki ee corridor lo ekkuva sound cheyadani cheppandi "

(Make sure the kids don't make noise in this corridor.)

Mallamma nodded, "Alage Babu." He gestured to them to lower their voices, "Ssh ! Nemmadiga." She closed her eyes turning on her right pulling the blanket with her left hand and clutching his right hand in her right hand.

(I'll look after it, Babu. -- Ssh ! Lower your voice.)

Rocky glanced down at the moment and resumed patting her head. Vittal and Vanaram felt strange seeing Rocky's new side which is in quite contrast to the images of him beheading Garuda.

He mumbled to Vittal, "Mining panulu modalu pettinchandi," who nodded in agreement. He turned to Vanaram, "Eeroju training lo andariki walkie talkie ela vaadalo nerpichandi." Vanaram nodded and they both left.

(Tell the guys to go ahead with the mining work. --- Train the boys regarding how to use the walkie talkies.)

She wasn't in a mood to get up but knowing he had been sitting the whole night in the same position, she opened her eyes and tilted her head up to him. Sensing the movement he peeked at her and saw her awake.
