As soon as Lian Jue entered the door, the light in the living room turned on.
The aunt put on a short-haired sleeping blanket and came out of the room: “Mr. is back?”
He bowed his head and changed shoes in the hallway: “Not asleep yet?”
“When I get older and feel light, I will get up and have a look when I hear the sound of the car.” Auntie walked over and helped Lian Jue to take off his coat. “Yeah”, “Mr. are you drank? Did you drive back by yourself?”
“No.” Lian Jue unbuttoned his sleeves and folded his cuffs. “Tongtong is asleep?”
The aunt looked at him suspiciously and didn’t understand whether he didn’t drink or drive. Lian Jue didn’t want to say more, she only said: “Sleep, I went to sleep after calling you. Sir, would you like some tea? I’ll make you a sober tea…”
“No.” Lian Jue walked to the sofa and sat down. There were two papers laid out on the coffee table. He picked it up and looked at it roughly. The child’s writing was not very good-looking and it was quite normal to put them together, stroke by stroke.
“Tongtong put it here at night saying that you can see it in case you come back.” Auntie poured a cup of warm water and put it on the table, a little helplessly. “Just let it go. If you didn’t came back, I’ll sign it for him tomorrow morning.”
Lian Jue drew a pen from the pencil case on the table and found an empty space to sign his name next to the full marks marked by the red pen in the upper left corner. Yu Guang swept to the name column, the pen tip paused and then added a’Lian’ before the two characters’Kang Tong’.
Auntie saw it with a smile in her eyes: “The procedures are down?”
Lian Jue buckled the pen and put it back in his pencil case and zipped it up: “We’ll take him to the account this week.”
In all, Kang Tong has lived with him for more than two years. In the first two years, because his age does not meet the requirements for adoption the adoption procedures have not been completed, so it is inconvenient for children to go to school and go out using the adoptees’ name. It wasn’t until Lian Jue turned 30 last week that Kang Tong’s adoption procedures were finally completed. It was a struggle but at least he didn’t have to worry about going to public schools in the future.
The aunt didn’t know what Lian Jue had at work but only knew that the child had a real status and had a decent household registration which was a top priority at home.
She suddenly smiled put the pencil case and papers on the coffee table back into the yellow schoolbag on the sofa and said with a smile: “The relationship is good and I will add two more dishes on Sunday! Hey, I have to add it from tomorrow!”
Lian Jue smiled faintly.
He leaned on the sofa and closed his eyes to rest for a while with a slightly sweet alcohol lingering in his nose which made him think of the absurd sex at night and the man’s eyes that were crying.
Lian Jue put his elbow on the armrest of the sofa and rubbed his eyebrows tiredly with his head tilted.
The aunt turned her head to see his movements and asked: “Is it uncomfortable?”
Lian Jue retracted his thoughts and shook his head.
He opened his eyes and straightened up took the tea from the coffee table and took a sip without letting his aunt work in vain. After putting down the drinking glass, he got up from the sofa, raised his hand to unbutton the shirt’s collar and walked towards the stairs: “When you go to bed, you should rest soon.”
