Lian Jue put Chen Ningxue’s luggage into the trunk. After Chen Ningxue said goodbye to her friends, she walked from the rear of the car to the co-pilot but she was stunned when she opened the door.

She and Kang Tong in the co-pilot looked at each other for a few seconds. Just when Kang Tong was hesitating whether to get out of the car and give up the position of the co-pilot, Chen Ningxue suddenly responded: “Are you Tong Tong? Oh, I almost forgot. Before, your dad sent me your photo. Why doesn’t you look like the photo at all?”

Kang Tong didn’t know that Lian Jue sent her a picture of himself or when did he sent it. He couldn’t answer for a long time. He held the pizza box at loss, looked at her timidly and whispered: “Aunt Xiaoxue.”

Lian Jue closed the trunk and came over and replied for Kang Tong, “He was now a little fatter than that time. He was a little malnourished before.”

Kang Tong nodded along with Lian Jue’s words: “I’ve gained weight.”

Chen Ningxue squeezed his cheeks which were a little fat and said, “It’s not fat. It’s just right.”

Lian Jue planned to send Chen Ningxue home first but Chen Ningxue was not happy: “Is that girl still at my house?”

Lian Jue glanced at her in the rearview mirror. Chen Ningxue frowned and fiddled with her phone in the back seatnalmost hanging the word “unhappy” on her forehead.

In fact, Chen Ningxue has a good temperament and personality since she was a child. She is not introverted and does not recognize her life dull and boring. She greets everyone with a smile. There is no one among relatives and elders who will not praise her for being generous and sensible.

But this momentum did not last long. Since Chen Chulian married a younger woman five years ago her rebellious period has begun to emerge. However, this rebellious came too late, resulting to not being proficient enough to operate the word willfully and forcibly annoyed herself across the Atlantic Ocean.

It can be said that she is the first person to grow others’ ambition and destroy her own prestige.

Lian Jue didn’t want to mix things up between them, so he said “um” and didn’t say much.

Chen Ningxue raised her eyes from her phone when she heard the sound and said sarcastically, “Isn’t the old man separated from her? It’s long enough.”

Kang Tong didn’t understand why the new little aunt was so hostile to that pretty aunt. He liked the aunt very much. She smiled softly and let him touch her puppy.

But when the adults were talking, he didn’t dare to interrupt, he only dared to turn his eyes and refute in his heart.

The car drove into the city, Lian Jue asked the driver waiting at the expressway to pick up Kang Tong, and drove Chen Ningxue to lunch.

“Let’s eat Chinese food. I’m already going to vomit from always eating Western food.” Chen Ningxue suggested.

It was past the meal time and there were very few people dining in the restaurant. Chen Ningxue had not heard people speak Mandarin for such a long time. She didn’t want to sit in the deserted box, so she and Lian Jue found a window seat in the lobby on the second floor.

“Brother, you actually raised a child.”

An incredible expression appeared on Chen Ningxue’s face: “I thought you were joking when you told me before.”

Lian Jue handed the menu to the waiter and glanced over at her: “When did I joke with you?”

Chen Ningxue vaguely read his dissatisfaction from his expression, and stopped asking questions wisely. She changed his the topic: “You didn’t tell Dad that I’m back, did you?”
