When Lian Jue called again, Shen Tingwei had already completed the brain examination and was filling out a test questionnaire in the consultation room by himself. After filling out the form, he came out of the room and the assistant who accompanied him to check handed him the mobile phone. Lian Jue’s tone without any fluctuations came from the receiver, looking a little cold: “I warned you, don’t pretend to be crazy with me.”
“I’m not pretending.” Shen Tingwei said calmly, “Mr. Lian, I’m not sick.”
The phone was quiet for a second before Lian Jue continued, “Cooperate with the inspection. Don’t play tricks.”
From his tone, Shen Tingwei could almost see his consistent high-pitched expression with his lower jaw slightly raised.
“I will.” Shen Tingwei thought for a while and added, “I have no ill intentions towards you.”
He waited patiently for a while and Lian Jue didn’t speak any more, so he hand the phone back to Lian Jue’s assistant.
The assistant took the call and whispered, “Mr. Lian.”
The other side didn’t know what to say, but the assistant quickly replied: “Okay, President Lian.”
The chief physician sat opposite the square table watching Shen Tingwei’s slender and nimble fingers constantly repeating the movements of disrupting and restoring the rubik’s cube during their conversation.
“You have some slight anxiety.” The doctor put down the questionnaire in his hand and finally came to a conclusion.
The movements in Shen Tingwei’s hands stopped.
“Yes.” He raised his head. “Doctor, I’m anxious.”
After the examination, the doctor handed the diagnosis certificate to the assistant, explained to him the various data on the test sheet in detail and explained to him: “No problem was found in the brain examination. Judging from the patient’s current condition, it can be basically determined. The patient suffers from mild anxiety. But anxiety disorder is one of the more common neuropsychiatric diseases in the social population and it does not require hospitalization if it does not affect normal life.”
Shen Tingwei sat beside him silently and raised his head slightly surprised when the assistant took the diagnosis and politely asked the doctor to prescribe a medicine.
He thought he would be forced to be hospitalized. After all, this shouldn’t be too difficult for Lian Jue.
On the way back, the assistant who sat side by side with Shen Tingwei in the back seat flipped through the test report in his hand and could not find any problems.
Shen Tingwei’s eyes swept across the movements of his hands and he comforted the assistant who seemed more anxious than him in a self-deprecating tone: “Maybe their machine detected it wrong.”
The assistant raised his head and gave him a deep look: “Their hospital uses our company’s equipment.”
“Huh?” Shen Ting couldn’t find the necessary connection between the two for a long time and blinked at him, waiting for the following.
The assistant frowned almost invisibly, looked away and said bluntly, “Our company’s equipment is the best in China, so there can be no problems.”
“…”
Shen Ting didn’t turn his head to look out the window at the shadow of the tree leaning back and couldn’t help but maliciously speculate in his heart whether Lian Jue’s company was conceited as its corporate culture.
