Miya was standing in front of his school's gates looking at the text that was written on the screen of his phone

Miya your father and I can't come to pick you up

He sighed as he turned his phone off and muttered to himself
"Guess they're coming today as well"
When he heard a familiar voice call out to him
"HEY MIYA WHERE ARE YOUR PARENTS?" It was Joe
"Joe, what are you doing here?" Miya asked as the muscular man walked up to him
"The gorilla and saw you staring at your screen looking tired so we decided to ask what's up?" Cherry said as he peeked his head from behind Joe's back
"Mom- I mean Cherry I didn't see you there"
"Call me Kaoru in public and well this gorilla hid me"
"I'M NOT A GORILLA"
"YES YOU ARE"

"So anyway do you want us to drop you off maybe we can take you to eat first too?" Joe asked him,
"Sure I guess," Miya said looking at his feet
"Great!" Joe exclaimed as he ran towards his car with Kaoru following him
"Come on now Miya don't you wanna come with us?" Kaoru said as he looked at him
"Yeah yeah I'm coming"

It had gotten late by the time the couple dropped him off
He walked towards the door just to find out it was unlocked so he peeked his head inside and what he saw caused a pit in his stomach
His parents they were there sitting on the couch looking angry as they held his tests
"Mom, dad you weren't supposed to-"
"SUPPOSED TO WHAT MIYA!?" His mother shouted at him and threw his test sheets to the floor
"YOU'RE NOT DOING WELL IN SKATING OR DOING GOOD IN STUDIES WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?"
"I am trying to do good.." Miya whispered to himself
"HA!? WHAT DID YOU SAY BRAT!?" His mom yelled as she pushed him to the ground and kicked him hard in his stomach
"Stupid brat" He faintly heard her say that as she walked away with his father following her
Miya felt like crying He felt like crying even though it was a daily thing at this point
He slowly lifted himself up and walked up the stair and ran to his bedroom slamming the door shut and threw himself in his bed and pushed him head in the pillow and started crying and shouting until no more tears would come out and his throat staring aching
He heard a notification from his phone and lifted his face from the wet pillow and looked at who messaged him It was Kaoru

Miya do you want to come eat dinner with us?
Miya felt that he would only intrude the couple if he joined but he still wanted to go he couldn't stay in this house right now

And with that Miya closed his phone and dropped back into his bed
