madi was sitting on the sofa eating a few berries from the tier of fruit placed in front of her while blair complained about serena's presence at the kiss on the lips party the night prior to kati and is. when isabel asked what serena had done to make her so mad, blair immediately changed the subject of conversation, letting them know that she had to call her boyfriend. blair hadn't told anyone about what nate and serena did except madi and she was planning on keeping it that way.
it took a while for nate to answer the phone, most likely because he was asleep, but eventually he did. blair greeted him politely as kati and is eavesdropped before she reminded him that chuck's father's brunch was today.
after blair ended the call, she immediately looked to madi. "he was asleep, wasn't he?" madi predicted, especially because he and chuck would each have huge hangovers this morning.
"yeah," blair nodded in response despite nate telling her he was awake though both of the girls knew better than to believe him. "could you-" blair began to ask but madi caught on quickly and interrupted her.
"no. i'm not going over there, b," madi shook her head. she didn't need blair to finish her sentence to know what she was about to ask her to do.
"please, m. just make sure they're awake and ready. they can't be late to bart's brunch," blair pleaded though madi still looked opposed to the idea so blair added, "for me."
"fine," madi sighed, getting up and heading towards the exit.
"and please be-" blair shouted as she headed into the elevator.
"be nice. i know," madi cut her off, finishing her sentence for her as the elevator doors closed but not to soon for blair to shout a distant 'thank you'.

the elevator slowly took her up to chuck's suite where the doors opened to two girls wearing the palace staff uniform though their uniform was a mess as was their hair and one of the girl's had only one shoe on. madi's nostrils burned from the smell of body odour and whiskey as she walked into the room, moving past the two women without a word as they left the suite.
