Chapter 16: Bulana chahiye ya nahi?

Piyush stood up from there in anger. He gave an angry look and then went inside his room. Kashish slowly followed Piyush into their room. Piyush did not talk to her, just went off to sleep after making her remember the day her truth was out.

Naina woke up next day and saw that Sujal wasn't next to her. She knew where to find him. She went directly to Anurag's room and found Sujal caressing Anurag's hair and loving him. She slowly came near him without making any noise and kept a hand on his shoulder.

Naina: Nahi sooye na?

Sujal: Kaise soo sakta tha? Kal ke baad...

Naina: Sujal..Kamini gandi nahi....

Sujal: Jaanta hu..I'm sure woh Piyush par gayi hogi par..

Naina: Par uske sath sath uski mom bhi hai..

Sujal: Ha..woh..usne mere bacche ke sath kya kiya woh toh dekha na tumne!

Naina: usne yeh sab kisi reason se kiya hoga Sujal..usse toh uss time pe pata bhi nahi tha ki Anu tumhara beta hai..

Sujal: Jaanta hu uske iss action ke peeche koi na koi reason raha hoga but..yaar ek bacche ke sath aisa sab karne se pehele ek baar sooch toh liya hota ussne!

Naina: Ab aap chaliye, thodi der soo lijiye..

Sujal stood up reluctantly and went with Naina to his room. It was around 10 o'clock that Sujal woke up. He came down and saw that both his children had already left for college. He had his breakfast without much discussion about yesterday with Naina and then went off to work.

When Sujal returned home later that day he found Anurag waiting for him patiently in the living room. Sujal entered the house with a huge smile.

Sujal: Arre wah! Aaj mera beta mujhe welcome karne yaha mera wait kar raha hai! Kya baat hai mere laadle bete?!

Anurag turned around and saw Sujal make his way towards him. He stood up and ran towards Sujal and embraced him into a hug.

Anurag: Papa..Papa I love you! Mai jaanta hu ki aap kal raat ko nahi sooye ho na meri wajah se..Isiliye aaj maine aapke liye special khana banaya hai aapne haatho se! Sirf aapke liye!

Sujal: Arre beta..yeh sab karne ki kya zarurat thi? Waise  tumhare Dada, Dadi, Mama, Mami, Mumma aur Shona kya khaiyenge agar khana sirf mere liye banaya hai tumne toh?

Anurag: unn sabko maine bahar bhej diya hai khana khaane! Aaj sirf mai aur aap milke khayenge!

Sujal: Accha theek hai phir! Abhi aata hu kapde badal ke!

Sujal went upstairs to change his clothes and freshen up. They both sat at the dining table and Anurag served the food. While they were eating, Sujal could figure out that Anurag wanted to say something.

Sujal: Kya baat hai beta..bolo..

Anurag: papa, woh mujhe pata chala ki aap aur Kamini ki mom dono ek doosre ko jaante ho..bure sense me..

Sujal: Ha beta..woh jo apni kahani sunata hu mai tum logo ko, ussme jo ladki hai woh hi Kashish, Kamini ki mom..aur mera dost, Piyush Kamini ka papa.

Anurag: Papa..Papa mujhe aapse ek bohot hi important baat karni thi..

Sujal: bol na beta!

Anurag: papa woh..I really really love Kamini..please humme alag mat kijiyega..

Sujal: Anu..

Anurag: I know ki Piyush uncle se baat ho gayi thi humare baare me but kal ke scene ke baad..please papa..please kuch mat badalna! I really love her!

Sujal: jaanta hu beta..jaanta hu ki you both love each other..accha theek hai, udas mat ho, I'll try my level best..mere taraf se..

Anurag: taraf se kya papa?

Sujal: beta thoda time to lena padega na soochne ke liye..

Anurag: Ok! No problem but please yeh baat ko nazar-andaz mat karna ki we both love each other.

Sujal: Ha beta..chalo ab mujhe yeh batao ki tumne yeh sab akele banaya ya phir mumma ki madad li?

Anurag: Nahi papa! Poora akele banaya!!

Then the father-son duo continued to eat without touching that topic once again. After an hour of their food being over, Naina and Shona returned home after dropping her parents and Naveen at a museum.

Naina: kha liya aap dono ne?

Sujal: Ha Naina! Bohot hi accha tha khana!

Shona: Mumma se seekhe hai jo! Accha hona hi tha!

Then the entire family started having fun. Soon afterwards, Sujal sent the two children to their study room to study and took Naina to his study room.

Naina: Kya baat hai Sujal?

Sujal: Naina, mai sooch raha hu ki..

Naina: ki?

Sujal: mai sooch raha hu ki, mere personal problems ke wajah se Anu ke pyar ko sooli par nahi chadana chahiye humme..

Naina: Kya tum sooch rahe ho ki..

Sujal: Ha..mai sooch raha hu ki..man maarke hi sahi..par ha, Anu ke khushi ke liye mai yeh rishta karwane ke liye tayar hu..bas ab doosre side se answer aana chahiye positive me..

Naina: mai baat karti hu unn logo se..

Sujal: Nahi Naina..mai baat karunga..

Sujal picked up his phone and dailed Piyush's number. He held his breath to conjure up the courage to speak with Piyush. He knew what he was doing was right for Anurag..

Piyush: Hello..kaun bol raha hai?

Sujal: Hello Piyush..mai Su..

Piyush: Sujal! Tum?!

Sujal: Ha.. Hello..

Piyush: Hello Sujal..bolo..aaj kaise yaad kiya mujhe tumne?

Sujal: Piyush tum mere ghar aa sakte ho kya? Mujhe kuch important baat karni hai tumse..Anu aur Kamini ke baare me..

Piyush: Ha.. ha..tum time batao, mai aa jaunga waha pe..

Sujal: Ho sake toh kal aajana..2 pm ke aas paas theek hoga..kal uss time pe bacche college me honge..

Piyush: Theek hai..I'll be there..thank you Sujal..really thank you very much..

Sujal: Kis baat ke liye?

Piyush: kal ke baad se Kamini aur mujhe dar tha ki tum aur Naina Anurag aur Kamini ke rishte ke khilaf ho jaoge..koi aur bhi hota toh woh bhi aisa hi karta..

Sujal: Piyush, jo problems hai uss ghar se, woh sirf aur sirf meri problems hai..uske wajah se mai apne Anu ke khushiyo ki bali nahi chadha sakta aur na hi chadha sakta hu..aur phir sirf mere Anu ki baat nahi hai, Kamini ke zindagi ko barbad karne wala hai kaun hota hu..isiliye bohot soochne ke baad yeh faisla liya hai maine..kal aajana..

Piyush: Zarur Sujal..thank you...

Sujal: Thank you bolne ki koi zarurat nahi hai..kal aajana..bye!

Piyush: Bye Sujal..bye!

Piyush disconnected the phone and went to Kamini. She was sitting with the entire family in the living room and Piyush announced that he received a call from Sujal to talk about Anurag and Kamini. All except Kashish and Vasundhara celebrated. CG was shocked to hear this that even after everything that had happened yesterday, Sujal is still willing to get Anurag married to Kamini! His son had indeed changed a lot!
