Slipping the note in his locker was hard enough, now I have to confess to him.
I quickly ran to the cherry tree and stood patiently for my senpai. I heard footsteps lightly tapping on the floor, making its way up to the top of the hill, near the tree.
"Hello?" Senpai called out.
I went up to him shyly, and stood in front of him.
"Oh, hey Ryoba! We're you the one who wanted to meet me here?" He asked, with curiosity in his voice.
"Yes..I uh.."
"Hm?" He said.
"Oh, I wanted to say that I think I'm in love with y-"
"HEY JOKICHI!" A voice said loudly.
"Huh? Oh hey Kaguya!" He said to the pink-haired girl who was now running up to the hill, next to senpai.
"Senpai, I need to tell you something!!" She said, looking worried.
"Oh..uh, Ryoba was gonna tell me something-"
"It doesn't matter! This is urgent!!" She said, interrupting him.
"Now, as I was saying, RYOBA IS A MURDERER!" She said, pointing to me, with an angry look on her face.
"W-what!?" I said, shocked.
"What are you talking about?" Jokichi asked Kaguya.
"Do you remember that girl, Moeko? Ryoba killed her!" She said.
"Her death was an accident though.." Jokichi replied to Kaguya.
"No. I saw Ryoba out gasoline in that can thing, and that's how Moeko was burned to death. Because of Ryoba!"
"Ryoba..why would you do something like this!?" He said to me.
"W-what? You believe her?" I said.
"Of course! She's never lied to me, ever." He said.
"I'm disgusted how a person could do such a thing to an innocent girl." He continued.
"N-no..wait..please.." I said, shocked. I fell to the ground.
"He could never love me.." I muttered to myself..
