"well--speak!" the man standing before me gripped harder onto my forearm.

i winced in discomfort. i can't see who he is. my vision is failing me and he's standing behind the darkness of the room. all i can see are his death-glowering eyes.

"are you gonna talk or not, my patience is thinning out" he only kept tightening his hold on me.

"i'm ruby rose. i came with my dad and joseph joestar today. i was told to attend a bachelorette party of mine but josuke took me to jotaro's party instead--"

"that's not true. josuke told me she has been in her party the entire time," he narrowed his glare.

oh crap. freaking josuke!! you're worse than your father!!!!

"which means you're lying to me"

"no i'm not! i came out looking for fresh air but i'm drunk and i don't know where i am. i just want to find my way out of here and go home!"

i tried scrambling away from his grip but it was no use. the more i moved the more my arm ached. the blood around the area was beginning to close off, my dizziness was getting worse.

"let go of me! i don't want to answer your damn questions anymore!"

the lights in the room abruptly turned on, shining the sudden brightness in the room. the pressure on my arm gradually went away. my eyes naturally squinted--i covered my vision with my other arm, deflecting the illuminated lights.

"ruby!! where the hell did you go!?"

crap! that's josuke! he probably found jotaro already! i gotta run for it!

my back turned to them and i began to make a run for it.

"wait!" the male's voice that questioned me called out.

but i couldn't look back. the thought of meeting him right now is going to drive me through the roof. i can't handle the pressure josuke is throwing at me right now!

i found some doors that looked to lead to the outside. i ran for it and pushed the doors wide open, running through a garden with nothing but the moonlight to guide me.

"dad! who's coming over?" autumn asked.

"an old friend of mine sweetie. he's here for a small chat nothing more nothing less" dad explained.

my sisters and i were surrounding him, curious as to why he was anxiously waiting by the window checking every five seconds.

this friend of his must be really important. we all circled around dad, when we then heard some knocks at our front door. dad stood up and prepared himself. i don't understand why he was so nervous, but i can tell this meant business. and the door began to open.

a tall man and a boy had arrived. my sisters and i looked at each other. what did this mean? and who were they?

"girls, i'd like you to meet my friend--uh. . .jeff"

all of our eyes landed on the tall man with a big smile.
