In a world like this where everyone was quirked up, some hero was always getting hit with a villain's quirk. It was such a natural occurrence that a lot of the time the news didn't even cover it unless it was a really bad or funny case. Tenya was currently curled into a ball on his bed processing the fact that his carelessness led him to be hit with a transformation quirk. His family paid heavily for it not to be broadcasted but he still had to attend classes and continue a normal life until the quirk wore off.

He thought he would be fine, that this would pass quickly and it would go away like a bad dream. The thing is it had already been a week. The Summer break had already ended and he was back in his dorm dreading having to leave the room to give the Resident Advisor speech. He breathed steadily as he got up to grab a hoodie. He put the hood up and left the room. Everyone was already waiting in the long for him. You sat worried, wondering if Tenya was ok. He was never late, maybe he was sick, you thought to yourself. "Good evening everyone, I do apologize for being late," Tenya said as he came into the lobby from upstairs. You sighed in relief as he seemed to be ok. His voice seemed a bit gruffer and he looked kind of skittish. He seemed to walk into the room with his back always facing away from everyone too. There was for sure something up.

He started giving his speech and you were half-engaged and the other half was you nudging Mina back and forth. "And so in conclusion, be considerate of others, the space, and yourselves. Good night," he said. He waited for everyone to clear out and then he basically booked it when you tried to approach him. "What the hell, Tenya?" you whispered. As he was almost running to his room his ears twitched at the sound of you saying his name. The longer he was inflicted by this quirk the more accustomed his body got to it. His sense of smell and hearing had become incredible. He could smell you and hear your disappointed mutterings as to why he just blew you off. He sat down on his bed and took off his hoodie to try and get some rest, but then he heard footsteps approaching his door and your scent getting closer.

You knocked on the door and when there was no answer you sighed. "Hey, Tenya, I hope you're ok. I hadn't heard from you the entire last week of summer. Anyways, I'll see you in class tomorrow," you said before walking back to your room. He felt bad but it wasn't that he did anything wrong, his pride just wouldn't allow him to let you see him like this, but he couldn't skip class tomorrow so he was only delaying the inevitable. It didn't matter to him because he had become overwhelmed with the feeling to run but didn't want to lead the room so he found himself jumping on his bed like a toddler hyped up on sugar. He crashed 10 minutes later and slept soundly through the night.

The next morning he woke up feeling refreshed and really happy. More than usual, like uncontrollably happy. He cleaned up and ran to class. You woke up groggy and annoyed that your alarm had the audacity to ring at the time you set it for. You got dressed and grabbed a soda because fuck it, Coke for breakfast. You made your way to class and were surprised to see a crowd gathering around the door. Surprised isn't really the right word, considering your best friend was an actual firecracker and your other bestie was a pink slime monster, more so amused. You shoved past the crowd and then you saw what the ruckus was all about. Iida had dog ears and a tail, he must have gotten hit by a quirk. It was so cute you wanted to die. He looked over at you and blushed and looked away but you could tell he was excited by the wild way his tail was wagging. You sat down next to him at your desk and tried to silence the giggles fighting their way up.

He looked at you with a mix of annoyance and excitement which was the funniest thing, especially with his tail wagging hard enough to break something. "Tenya? What happened?" you asked. He explained how he had gotten hit by a villain's quirk and it gave him dog parts and senses. You were way too distracted by the expressive ways his ears moved as he spoke and the way his tail hasn't stopped wagging since he saw you. "Well for what it's worth, it's really cute," you said. He pouted but his tail wages even faster. Aizawa started class and you tried to pay attention but Tenya was giving you actual puppy dog eyes the whole time. When you finally turned to look at him he gave you a shameful and bashful smile. "Can I as you something? Please didn't judge me," he couldn't hold eye contact with you which was out of the ordinary for him. "Yeah, sure, I mean we're in the middle of class but if you're quiet it's fine," you whispered. He nodded and leaned in closer to you. He couldn't help my take in your scent. He always loved how sweet you smell but now it was overwhelming how good you smelled to him. "Can you- can you pet me? Please?" he asked. His eyebrows were knitted and he looked worried as if you would think he was disgusting. You felt your face heat up as he was being so cute. You nodded your head and excitement took over as you pat his head. He leaned into your touch and you began to give him scratches and rub his ears. His tail was wagging so hard that he knocked Momo's books off her desk. That got everyone's attention and he became very insecure and pulled away from you, his tail stopped wagging and his ears fell flat.
