You and Iida have been friends for longer than you can really remember. You've been through everything together. From first injuries to puberty. You told each other everything. He was the first person you told when your quirk manifested. You had a pretty cool quirk that was a mix of your parents'. Your dad had a Cat quirk and your mom had the ability to shapeshift. So you ended up being cooler than them both and had a quirk called Animagus. Any animal you could think of you could turn into. Existing or not.

Now the two of you were at UA university together and even in the same class for Hero training. At the moment you and he were having a slight disagreement on how you should approach the villain scenario Aizawa put you in for class. You were both on the hot seat since it was being broadcasted to your class.

"You're being too reckless! If there were civilians you could get the caught in the crossfire!" Iida said to you. Your plan was to go full Tyrano and bust shit up and blast through the door and literally eat the villain. "Well it's better than waiting around for Christmas. If there are hostages or civilians they'll be dead before we get there stupid!" You yelled. You guys normally got along well and when you didn't it never lasted. Your fights were never more than 10 minutes. The longest a fight had lasted was 22 hours and 15 minutes because Iida accidentally ripped your favorite plushy when you were 10.

"You're being unreasonable!" He said to you exasperated. "You're being slow. Your quirk would let you get everyone out before I even broke anything!" You were getting fed up with him. "I'm just going to do the thing." You said as you turned into the biggest T-Rex you could imagine. You ran up to the building the villain was holed up and and slammed your head against one side of the building. Careful not to make it structurally unsound. Iida ran in and surveyed the area. "God damn it Y/N!" He yelled from below you.

The alarm went off indicating that the scenario was over. "You failed." Aizawa's voice rang out through the various speakers placed throughout the area. You shrank down and reverted back to your usual form. Unfortunately you went bigger than your hero costume could handle and it was torn to shreds. You walked over to Iida to see he was blushing madly and covering his eyes. "Oh yikes." You laughed as you picked up a piece of tarp from the building and wrapped it around you.

"Why can't you ever just listen to me?" Iida yelled at you while avoiding eye contact. "Because as much as you think you're perfect, you're far from it really far actually. You're not always right and I don't have to listen to you, Potter ." You yelled back using a childhood nickname you knew he despised. Before the two of you could continue your argument, Aizawa made his way over to you. "Enough! Do you know why you failed?" He asked monotonously.  The two of you opened your mouths, likely to blame the other. "Because you can't work as a team. Iida you won't make a move and Y/N you're way too reckless. Neither of you think of the consequences of your actions and you're both always ready to pin the blame on the other."

He looked at you disappointedly with a hard gaze that softened when he say your saddened faces. "Do better, be better." He said with a sigh. You both nodded feeling deflated. "Dismissed. Also if it wasn't obvious, you both will receive an F for this assignment." He announced as he walked away lazily. This set Iida off. "Are you fucking kidding me?" He growled out causing you to turn your whole body towards him. It wasn't anything new to you to hear Tenya let out the occasional curse or swear word but for everyone spectating, it was very bizarre. You could hear the uproar from the booth and it cracked you up. This pissed Tenya off even more. "You're so childish this is why we failed!" He accused. "No asshat, Aizawa just said it was because we can't work together as a team. Why would I want to work alongside such an uptight dick hole like you?" You basically screamed. "You know what? I don't want to deal with you. When you stop being a child, we can talk again." He said as he started walking away. "Fuck off with your high and mighty personality. It's not cute anymore we're not kids. Everyone just thinks you're a stuck up prick!" You yelled. You knew you went to far when he turned around and walked towards you.
