Alex pov: my sister talked me into buying a few things for the baby and going to the baby shower wit her. I don't even know why she wanna go because I know for a fact Aubrey don't fuck with her no more. When we got there it was a lot of her friends from school, but I didn't see her mom or brothers. Nor did I see Cory.

Jordan: (walking over to them)why are y'all here ?

Alex: don't wanna be

Mariah: we just wanted to bring some stuff for the baby. After all my brother could potentially be the father

Jordan: y'all need to go, don't fuck up my best friend birthday

(Aubrey walks over to them)

Aubrey: hi

Mariah: Um hey. We brought some stuff

Aubrey: thanks, you can sit it over there on the gift table

Mariah:okay (walks away to the gift table )

Aubrey; I'm gonna tell everyone the gender in a little while

Alex: I don't plan on being here long

Jordan: then leave

Aubrey: this could possibly be your baby and you don't even care. I ain't did shit to you. I just want my baby to have a father and in the case that's you I want you to be around. Please I been doing shit on my own since I got pregnant .

Alex:(sighs) I hope it's a boy. Always wanted a son first

Aubrey: smiles a little ) plenty of food help yourself

Cory pov: I was like 30 minutes late to the baby shower but at least I'm here. I got out the car after parking and got the gifts and then walked inside. Aubrey was sitting at a table talking wit her brothers and Jordan. Shockingly Alex was there, Jordan was telling me he been talking mad shit about the pregnancy and how that can't be his baby. I ain't seen her in some months so I wonder how this gone go.

Aubrey: I'm so happy y'all made it !

Caleb: you thought we was finna miss our baby sister baby shower ? Oh nah we the turn up uncles

Aubrey: laughs) I know

(Cory walks over to them )

Cory: um hey brey

Aubrey:( turns around) Cory ? You made it

Cory: yeah I had to make a stop

Aubrey: um thanks for coming

Cory: nods) can we um talk in private ?

Aubrey: sure , I'll be back yall

Aubrey pov: me and Cory stepped out of the ballroom and into the hall and I was nervous. It's been 3 months since we last talked.

Cory: um how you been ?

Aubrey: I've been okay, you ?

Cory: I been okay, you look beautiful

Aubrey:(smiles) thank you

Cory: I miss you

Aubrey: I miss you too

Cory: I still love you. Im willing to leave all this mess in the pass. I want my girlfriend back

Aubrey: I'm so sorry cory, I wish I could take it back.

Cory: look imma be there for you from this day forward. Even if the baby ain't mine.

Aubrey: you mean that ? Cause I'm been through this whole pregnancy pretty much alone and I can't take it no more

Cory: yes, I'm for real I got you (leans in and kisses her) I love you

Aubrey:smiles a little) I love you too

Cory: so can I know the gender?

Aubrey: plus the paper out her wallet and reads it) it's a girl

Cory: smiles) you for real?

Aubrey; yes (smiles)

Cory: I bet she's gonna be a daddy's girl

Aubrey:(smiles) nahh she loves her mommy...
