Ask: Hiii!!!

Sinds the ask box isn't full yet, I have a request.

though I'm not sure if you'll want to write this, I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask (Pls don't give me a strike). Could we get a Kapi x reader who has parents that say the tourette syndrome is made up please?

I'm super sorry if you don't like my ask, you can ignore it then for sure. I don't want to disrespect you I promise! I'm also sorry for my (probably) bad English.

Uncertain Anon, sweetie, this is angst you're asking for. But you didn't say how you wanted it to end so I'm turning it to FLUFF!

Tw: Slight Angst

=====================

Kapi w/ Your Nonbelieving Parents

- You knew they were wrong

- You knew it very well

- The fact that they even let the words fall onto deaf ears in the first place made you angry

- What also made you angry about this, you may ask?

- The fact that they had the balls to say it right in front of your boyfriend

- "Tourette's is just another made up disease they use to label people with serious issues!" "The fact they even say it exists at all makes me lose that much more faith in our government...."

- When your boyfriend tried to protest their opinions they only turned to insulting him

- "You're wrong, Tourette's is real! I should know! I've dealt with it my entire life!" "Oh, now is it now? Unlike your nonexistent manners." "What did you expect dear, the boy is a rapper, they don't have a respectful bone left in their body. Have you hear the ways they sing about the justice system?" "You have no shame, do you?" "I...I..."

- You weren't going to have him sit through this verbal abuse

- "Kapi, we're leaving, now." "Y/N, sweetie? Where are you going?" "Y/N, don't you dare leave with that moron!" "I'm not coming back if all you do is insult the person I love most, so you can f*** off for all I care."

- You didn't give them the time to respond to that, you grabbed Kapi and drove back to your shared apartment

- "I'm really sorry about them Kapi, they're so set in their own ways that they couldn't even perceive that 'perfect' people like them could be so cruel." "I....just hate that they targeted me for something I can't control..." "I get it. I know it's hard enough to just live with the disease itself, it's a whole other issue when people insult you over it.-" "It wasn't just that, why the hell did they assume I was being disrespectful just because of my job?" "Because they're morons that are still living in the 1970s when gays weren't allowed to marry." "I- I don't get why they felt the need to insult me! I can't help that I have this issue! I can't control anything about it! AND YET THEY JUST HAD TO-"

- You stopped him by hugging him to your chest

- "Kapi, they don't know a damn thing. I know it's real, and we aren't going anywhere near them until they apologize to you." "We?" "I'm on your side here. You think I want to be around them after they invalidated your medical condition? Hell no." "I feel so....drained." "Emotionally?" "Yeah." "Let's just go to bed then. I'll turn my phone off, I know they're just going to be calling all night." "What's going to happen when they show up here because you didn't answer?" "I'll call the cops, I'm not dealing with their bulls*** again. You are the most important person to me right now, if they can't understand that, then they don't need to be in my life."

- You ended up cuddling up to Kapi, making sure that he'd be ok

- "I'm ok...I can just shake this off! It's like with the people who don't like my music, they don't have to listen to it." "True. I'm still not moving from this position though, you're still shaking too much." "I-I'm sorry, I can't really help it, I'm still angry." "I am too. Believe me."

- You ignored your parents many attempts to get into contact with you after this event

- You are constantly making sure to avoid places they frequent as well, as to save both you and your boyfriend from being retraumatized

- He may still have some issues with people because of this, but if someone even insinuates that his condition is real....

- Then you're going to show them a world full of pain

Side Note: If any one of you think you can get away with invalidating someone's medical conditions, you're surely mistaken. That kind of behavior is not tolerated by me or my blog, and I will personally report you. On another note I hope you enjoyed this!
