Fake Friends (Comfort + Garcello)
- How long have you been up?
- It had to be a couple hours. A couple hours since you read the insulting texts from your now ex-best friend
- "I never liked you to begin with!" That text hurt the most
- You've been tossing and turning, occasionally picking up your phone to see whether they'd take it all back
- But no, they were still the b**** you thought they were, your other friends sending you screenshots of them talking s*** behind your back
- You check the clock, 3am, god it feels like time is going by slower
- This isn't the first time you'd dealt with this kind of issue, but they had a lot of embarrassing information about you that they could be telling people right now
- The very thought keeps you up
- After a while, your tossing and turning seems to have woke up Garcello
- "Y/N, it's 3 in the morning, why are you still up?" "Had a fight with a now ex-friend and I can't sleep." "What'd she say?" "That she never liked me to begin with as well as some other things about you that I don't feel comfortable talking about at the moment." "Don't lose sleep on someone who never cared about your feelings. Just try to lay down with me. And please put your phone away. We can deal with anything else in the morning."
- He helped you with any "rumors" that surfaced overnight
- And with blocking any memory of them
- He was pissed about the comments they made about him, but he can let it go if you will
- Overall just tried cheering you up
- You two went out for ice cream
- It'll take some time to move on and forget, but don't let happy memories with them be the reason you let them back into your life, it isn't worth the trouble of another heartbreak
