It may sound cute but with Whitty being a known "runaway" I doubt he'd get on the Ferris Wheel if his S/O wasn't the one dragging him on. I'll have to tweek your ask a bit. Sorry. Please don't forget to pick out a nickname for your next ask!

Ferris Wheel Trouble (Fluff)

- "Y/N, why did you drag me to the fair? They could catch me-" "Whitty, it's nightime, I just want to ride the ferris wheel with you, get food, maybe play a few carnival games, and then we can go home."

- How did you even manage to get him out of the car?

- He's so on edge that he's already pulled his hood up

- He seemed to lighten up a little bit when you got him food, but he was still anxious about being caught.

- You could tell, because every time you guys stopped moving, he'd be impatiently tapping his foot

- "Whitty it's fine, we're a few towns over from where they're looking for you. You're finnneee."

- He didn't respond, but squeezed your hand in acknowledgement

- He seemed to become more irritated the longer you waited in line, and you almost thought he'd skip out before you two made it to the Ferris wheel

- "Why do you even want me to go with you anyways?" "Two reasons, the cliché romance scene where you kiss at the top, and because if I got on alone, the Ferris wheel wouldn't be balanced." "So you wanted to be romantic." "Yes."

- He muttered the word "cute" under his breathe so low you almost didn't pick up on it

- When you actually got on he placed a hand to the side of his face so the attendant wouldn't look at him

- "Whitty, just relax." "Y/N-" "Please just trust me."

- Going up and around seemed to melt Whitty's nerves a little, and he got his kiss when they moved to fill other seats.

- "It's pretty up here right?" "Mm. I can see the car." "Whitty, that's not funny." "The lights are pretty."

- He was quiet until the second time the Ferris wheel went around

- Which is when both of you felt the jerk of the machine stopping, with you two stuck at the top

- "I'm sorry but we are experiencing technical difficulties with the Ferris wheel's moving mechanism, please remain seated until the problem has been resolved."

- "SERIOUSLY?" "Whitty it's fine! We'll just be up here for a little while longer then I thought."

- He was of course not happy, but after a few minutes calmed down

- "How long does this usually take?" "I'm not sure, this has never happened with me before." "So probably a few hours." "It's not all that bad Whitty. At least you aren't stuck with BF." "True, I am glad that it's you that I got stuck up here with. Think I'd end up killing BF if I was stuck with him."

- It took at least 2 hours to get you two to the ground again, but it was filled with a lot of banter, and jokes usually about that blue haired rapper he never seemed to like

- "Ok so maybe getting stuck up there wasn't the worst thing to happen today." "Whitty you had fun, admit it." "Mm.. maybe just a little." "Now to play carnival games!" "Y/N, don't drag me."

- After getting Whitty to play some games with you, you finally headed home

- He mentioned on the way back that he wouldn't mind coming with you next time, which you beamed at

- "But under ONE condition." "Hm?" "I get to pick the ride next time."
