Mother

5 minutes later
Rushing to pay the bill and get out to Danny's car you notice Arny begin to get anxious. He is pacing out side of the restaurant. You walk up to him, trying to get his attention but it's almost like he doesn't notice you,

"Arny" you get no response, "Arny, hey" still no response. You didn't know what to do, he was pacing so quickly, he was in his own thoughts. Without noticing you put yourself infront of him so he would stop pacing. You cup his face and you got an immediate reaction. He was focused on you and only you. His eyes were watery, "she will be okay" he practically collapses in your arms. You hug him tight. He doesn't cry, he just pulls you in close and he doesn't let go, "everything will be okay" You whisper into his ear.

You feel him slowly let go of you, pulling out of the hug he stands up right and looks into your eyes again. Your hands find their way to his face a second time, you just pause there for a moment, trying to calm him down.

Danny and Rory rush out of the restaurant and you all begin running to Danny's car.

He drives to Arny's house, which is surrounded by emergency services. Police. Ambulance. And alot of them.

Arny gets out of the car. Slams the door and sprints to his front door where he is stopped by a police officer

"You can't come in here" he says,

"This is my house! What happened here?" Arnys says. He's yelling. Panicking.

"A robbery" the officer states. Arny's body language changes, he's angry but terrified.

He walks back to the car, his eyes water once again,

"Drive to my uncles" he's says getting in the car. You hold out your hand for him to hold which he does. You lean onto his shoulder, he puts his head on yours. His knee is bouncing up and down. You wish you could know what is going through his head, but you know asking him would make it worse, so you just hold his hand and be with him.

15 minutes later
You arrive at Arny's uncle's house. Arny gets out of the car, goes around to your door and opens it,

"I'm gonna need you with me, just incase I lose it" he says holding out his hand.

"Okay" You grab his hand and he pulls you out of the car,

"We'll be back" he says to the others and then leads you to the front door. He rings the door bell and his uncle opens the door. You walk in, pleasantries are exchanged.

Jackson, Arny's uncle, leads you all to the living room. Questions are being asked. You can see the anger that is building up,

"YOU WERE WITH HER AND YOU DID NOTHING?!" Arny yells out. There was silence. "You fucking left her. She is your sister and you just left her. What type of brother does that? Someone came into my home and started robbing the place and your first thought was to fucking leave? What? To save yourself? I can't fucking be here right now. I need to leave. Y/n let's go." He turns to his uncle "I never want to see your face again" he grabs your hand and walks you out to the car.

"Everything okay" Danny's asks,

"My uncle is a fucking bitch" he says, "I know I'm making you drive around alot but can you take me and y/n back to mine, I want to get my car" he says. Danny nods and drives back to Arny's house.

"Thankyou, I'll update you guys later" you and Arny get out of Danny's car and get into his.

"Where are we going?" You ask,

"To make sure my mother is okay" he replies, putting the car in reverse and backing out of the driveway.

You sit in silence for most of the car ride. You were going to say something but couldn't find right the words.

20 mintues later you arrive at the hospital. You and Arny walk inside to the receptionist. Arny asks where his mother is,

"Level 3, room 329. She just got moved to that room from emergency."

Arny thanks the receptionist and you both head to the lifts to goto level 3.

"What's going through your mind right now?" You ask him, you can tell his thoughts are probably uncomprahendable,

"To many thoughts to tell you just one" he says, "the only thing that is constant though is that I hope my mum is okay" he says holding your hand and bringing it up to kiss it.

You reach level 3, you are met with another reception desk. Arny asks the same questions as before but this time he was asked for an ID because only family and close friends are allowed to visit her.

He hands the man behind the desk his ID, the receptionist nods his head, hands Arny's ID back and once again tells us her room number,

"Room 329. Head down the hall. Take a right and her room should be the 4th door on your left" You thank the man and head to her room.

Arny POV:
Y/n and I arrive to my mother's room. We open the door slowly and are greeted by a blue curtain.

I slowly draw back the curtain. Revealing my mum, bruised and beaten. I feel myself well up, I'm not sure if it's from anger. Sadness or both.

"Hi baby" she says to me, "hi y/n",

"Mum, what happened? Are you okay? How are you feeling?" I ask her

"A burglar happened. Yes im okay, just in a bit of pain that's all"

Y/n walks up beside her and holds her hand. She's apart of the family. She is the only one of my girlfriends that my family loves.

"We'll be staying for a while" she says to my mum, "just wanna make sure they're treating you good. Can't have a beauty like you being mistreated now can we"

Y/n and I sit on the couch which is next to mum's bed,

"We aren't going anywhere" I tell her
