In the end... (Arny X Reader) Smut/Fluff

Y/N POV
Monday 12PM

It's been a few days since Arny's mother was admitted to hospital and you and Arny had visited her everyday since. She is doing alot better.

Arny has been finding it hard to sleep lately. He's been staying at your house because he doesn't have anywhere else to go,

"Babe, wake up" you whisper slowly rubbing Arny's back to try and wake him up. You both had a very late night last night because you went out with Danny and Rory.

"Mmm" he mumbles, and pulls you on top of him, "how about we stay here instead" he says, his voice is all raspy. You love his sleepy voice.

"We have to get up, your mum is getting discharged so we have to go pick her up" you tell him. He is still trying to adjust his eyes to the light,

"Agh fine. But before we go anywhere-" he flips you both so he's on top, and finishes his sentence "I want a kiss" you smile at his words, they still give you butterflies,

"Kiss me then idiot" you tell him,

"Idiot? Oh really?" A smirk forms on his face. He sits up on his knees and begins to ruthlessly tickle you. You thrash around trying to get him to stop, "Who's the idiot now?" He says, still tickling you. You can't form a response, you are laughing so hard,

"S-s-stopp" you finally get out, and he stops. You take a minute to catch your breath. Once you can breathe again you pull him down by his neck and kiss him. "That was mean" you say sarcastically,

"Don't call me an idiot and you won't get tickled" he smiles and gets off you.

You sit up, give him a small kiss and stand to get dressed. Arny does the same.

2 PM: Hospital
You and Arny arrive at the hospital to pick up his mum. She was discharged at 2:15 PM. Arny goes inside to help her out to the car. You move into the back seat so she can sit in the front.

She gets in the car, and you exchange pleasantries but something seems off with her. Arny gets in soon after and something seems off with him as well. You sit in silence the whole way to Arny's house. It's a sort of sad silence. Something is wrong but you don't want to ask in front of his mum.

Arriving at their house, the 3 of you head inside. Arny takes his mum up to her bed and you grab a glass of water and some snacks for both yourself and Arny, you grab a blanket and make yourself comfy on the couch while you wait for him to return downstairs.

After 10 minutes of silence, you hear the sound of heavy footsteps making their way down the stairs, it's Arny. He is puffy-eyed and sniffly. He'd been crying.

"Hi, sorry... I was uh- I was with mum. She's very tired. She'll be asleep for the rest of the night I reckon" he explains and sits down next to you. You give him some blanket and curl up next to him, put on a movie and just simply be with your boyfriend.

9 PM
"You awake?" You hear a whisper coming from Arny sitting next to you.

"Mhm" you groan, eyes closed. "Is everything okay with your mum?" You ask almost immediately after answering the first question you were asked.

"Uh- not really..." the concern you hear in his voice forces your eyed open, "she's uh... shes-" he can hardly get the words out. He begins tearing up. His words, shaky. "She-" he's crying now. You sit up, and look at him in the eye. You haven't seen him like this in months. "Sorry" he chuckles, whipping away the tears that are streaking down his face.

"Don't be sorry" you tell him and lean in to hug him tight. "You never have to apologise for stuff like this." You say this softer, more empathetic and love filled. He leans in towards you and hugs you the tightest you've ever been hugged before.

"I- I love you" he hesitates,

"What did you say?" You said, startled and a little confused. Did you hear that right? Did he say it first?

"I love you Y/n. I am IN love with you." He sounded so certain. So assertive.

You throw the blanket off your lap, climb on top of his and kissed him with immense passion, he kissed you back.

You pulled away briefly and said,

"I love you more than anyone else in the universe. You are seriously the love of my life. You-" you find yourself rambling and stop talking and just continue kissing your beautiful boyfriend.

Hello my beautiful babies! I'm so so sorry for how long this took to come out. I decided to take a break from writing for a while to focus on my mental health and schooling. I am back now though!! (Sorta). I will be getting a chapter out as often as I can. It shouldn't take longer than 2 weeks for a new chapter to be released!! I love you all!
