Ripnami! Everyone already knows Tsunami, but Riptide is a SeaWing who is the leader of the Talons of Peace, and he's Web's son.
It's a... mediocre ship. It would be completely fine, -great, actually!- if Riptide. Had. A. Personality. But he doesn't! He has no distinctive quality, no quirk I can recognise him by- Heck, if you took the way he talked and acted and plastered it over an OC, I wouldn't go, hey, why is that character acting so much like Riptide?
No! In fact, you wouldn't be able to take the way he talked and acted and plaster it onto another dragon, because he doesn't have a distinctive personality! (Calm down, calm down...) I haven't read book 2 in a while, but I'm sure even then he isn't well-written. If I'm being honest, I'm really just mad at Riptide.
They do have quite a few romantic scenes in Book Two, so... yay? Of course, they love each other very I don't know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. All in all, it's very mid.
