Today was the day that Luz and Ben had to go off to ̶p̶r̶i̶s̶o̶n̶ summer camp.

Luz and Ben are waiting for the bus to come to pick them up outside of their house to take them to camp.

"Don't worry míja, míjo, you two will have so much fun making new friends with each other that summer will just fly right by," Camila said to her children, before getting an alert from her phone, "Alright Luz, Ben, I have to go to work now. Love you," She said her goodbyes to Luz and Ben, "Love you too Mami," they both called out as they waved goodbye to their mom who waved back.

At the moment Ben had all the things he needed for camp: his guitar, his Nintendo Switch with all of his games, deodorant, toiletries, his phone, and several changes of clothes.

Meanwhile, Luz had an incredibly less transportable case that held her piano, and most of the same stuff that Ben with a few extras necessities.

While waiting for the bus, They heard a loud rustling from the trash bin on the side of the house. Having nothing better to do and no bus in sight, they decided to go check it out, and what they found was... An owl flying away with a bag full of trash.

Ben's natural instinct in this situation is to take out his phone and film it flying away so he could make a funny video out of it. Luz, however, takes it one step further and starts chasing the owl, phone in hand, screaming, "Get back here you tiny trash thief!" in the direction of the shack Ben came out of while somehow carrying all of her stuff, including her piano. Ben realizes what this could mean for him and his sister and just one word crosses his mind, "Oh".

"Of course, it's from the Boiling Isles," Ben said under his breath before chasing after Luz while carrying all of his stuff for camp, who had already chased the owl through the portal door, "Alright Noceda, chasing your sister who just ran into the Boiling Isles, no biggie, it's not as if I'll run into Odalia or something," Ben said, attempting to steel himself up before running into the portal to find Luz admiring the goods that are lying around in this tent they've wandered into.

"Well this certainly beats going to camp," Ben whispered startling Luz, which alerted whoever was working at this stand.

"Who goes there, I'll have you know you're stealing from the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles!" The person claimed as they approached the pair.

"Wait, Boiling Isles, you don't mean-" Luz started to realize before Ben finished her train of thought "Yes you just chased an owl into the place I came from, now let's go back before it's... too late," Ben said the door had closed and folded out of existence right in front of them.

"Now what do we have here?" The person asked, before examining them and noticing their round ears, "Hmm, Seems like two human kids wandered into the Isles, although you strangely look familiar I just can't put my finger on it," The woman said as she pointed at Ben causing him to take a closer look at the woman, he then noticed that she also looked familiar to that person who helped him escape to the human realm eight years ago.

"Wait, are you Eda?" Ben asked, "Depends on who's asking." Eda said with suspicion in her voice, "I'm the kid that you helped escape into the human realm," He explained, before taking off his concealment stone and stuffing it into his pocket, causing her eyes to widen in realization, "Well I'll be, it really is you kid, have you come to repay that favor or something?" She asked which caused him to shake his head, "No, this idiot chased after an owl after we saw it flying away with a bag of trash," Ben said as he pointed his thumb at Luz causing her to hit him.

"You mean Owlbert?" Eda asked causing her palisman to unscrew itself from its staff and perch itself on her shoulder.

"Yep, that's the owl we saw alright," Ben confirmed.
