If you know me you would know that in my younger days I was a die hard Harry Potter fan. I had all the books in a neat little stack that I wouldnt let anyone touch, even though I had read them all each at least twice. Hell, I even dressed up as Luna Lovegood for halloween.

However, my aggressive harry potter obsession came to an abrupt ending when I found out that the author of the book is a racist, homophobic, transphobic, piece of trash. Especially since this finding was made around the time I was finally starting to accept and embrace my true identity as a part of the lgbtq community, this was very shocking and quite infuriating.

If you can continue to support the harry potter saga especially knowing this information, I would like to kindly ask you to fuck off😄

Somehow that awful woman, Joanne Rowling managed build my dreams and destroy them in a matter of 2 or 3 years. She fucking disgusts me, and if you still support her you better fucking bet you do as well.

Even though the series may be one of the most popular fantasy book series in the world, that is absolutely not a damn reason to excuse the fact that the author is literally an awful ass person with very harmful views.

I no longer associate with the harry potter fandom because of this so if you are a harry potter fan, do not bring that shit up around me.
