It was cold and the air was thin. Alex laid on a hard ground and tried opening her eyes. Everything was dark and her head pounded. She felt some liquid dripping down her forehead. She touched it to see blood on her fingertips. Her Hands wwere shaking. She tried to stand up but her left leg gave in. she looked down to see the pants in blood where her knee is.
She started looked around. Alex knew the street she was it just didnt look after the one she knew. It was dark and some black tendrils where seen. Some white particles were in the air. It was the same road she crashed her car in the tree but the her car wasnt there and the tree wasnt damaged. Alex tried standing up with the help of the tree. 'What in the world is this' Alex thought. She heard something crack behind a tree. "Hello?", Alex asked in the direction it came from.
Something right behind her cracked. She quickly turned around. "Whoever you are it would be nice if you come out I could need some help", Alex said. But she felt something right behind her rear up. She didnt see any shadow of it but she knew something was behind her, something tall. She turned around slowly, grabbing her gun but 'fuck my life jesus' Alex thought. Her gun wasnt there
She turned around she saw some feet and slowly started looking up. This thing had no face it was had very light skin and it hands had crawls. 'Why can't I be lucky ONCE' Alex thought.
It slowly started approaching Alex but all of the sudden a loud sound was heard which Alex couldnt identify. The thing ran into the direction the sound came from.
'Thank god' Alex thought. Her hands stopped shaking that much. She sat down again.
After a bit she heard someone again. "Not again please", Alex said. She saw a figure coming out of the woods. "Alex?", the figure asked. "Uh- Hello? Should I know you?", Alex asked. "Im here to help", the figure started to come near Alex and Alex could finally identify them. "Will? Oh my lord", Alex asked. "Yeah yeah its me but we should leave right now you can ask questions later. The demogorgon could come back every minute", he said. "Well okay but my knee is damaged", Alex said. "Yeah I noticed", Will said. "Thats why I came to help my hideout isnt far from here, I distracted the demogorogon but I dont know for how long", he continued.
With the help of Will Alex stood up and slowly tried walking. "Fuck", she cried out. "Wait let me help you", Will said.
He supported Alex until they came to a sort of house.
There was a sign on it "castle byers?, Alex asked. Will nodded his head helping Alex inside sitting her down on a mattress. "So what is this?", Alex asked. "I think its an alternative universe of the one we know", Will said. "And for how long have you been here?", Alex asked. "Since yall have been searching for me", Will said.
They chatted for a bit longer and Will explained everything to Alex. Alex really wasnt overwhelmed, she knew something was odd about Hawkins since she first came here but that it would be something like that she didnt expected. Alex explained everythig what happened on the other side, that his 'Corpse' was found which was cleary not real. Will took it easy, he just wants to leave here as quick as possible.
"Hows mom?", Will asked after a while of silence. "Shes exhausted, she loves you so so much and it breaks her to not know how you are or where you are, shes not sleeping well in these days, I tried helping I guess she got better but now that Im gone" " She wont sleep that good anymore than with you", Will ended Alex sentence. Alex nodded her head.
"You also look exhausted, how long havent you slept?", Alex asked. "I dont know I cant count the days down here", Will said. "Come here", Alex patted the mattress next to her "try to sleep a bit I can wake you up if something happens", she said. Will nodded his head Walking to Alex, laying his head on Alex healthy leg. Alex froze for a second but accepted it and started Petting his head, giving Will comfort. "Thank you Will for saving me", Alex said. "No Need to thank me, I didn't want someone to die in here ever again", Will said. Alex started singing 'Dream a Little Dream of me'.
