Alex opened her eyes and a bright light hit her eyes. She needed to blink a few times. She felt something laying on her Right Hand and looked down, to see Joyce Holding her Hand asleep in her Chair. Alex didn't wanted to wake her up yet, she looked so peacefull. She started Looking around the room and realised she was in a Hospital room. Her left leg was bandaged. In a Couch infront of her bed she saw Steve and Jim also sleeping. It must have been hard for them. 'For how Long have I slept?' Alex asked herself. She softly squeezed Joyce Hand telling her Alex is awake. Joyce slowly opened her eyes. "Morning Pretty", Alex said with a bright grinn. "Alex? When we found you you had no pulse. HOW?" Joyce spoke with tears running down her face. "Hey, hey, Joyce it's alright im Awake now love", Alex said squeezing Joyce Hand once more. Joyce hugged Alex. "I'm so glad we found you, I love you Alex, I do wanted to say it when you said it but I- I couldn't do it so I made you something", Joyce said handing Alex a Cassette. It had 'I love you too' written on the front and there was a Tiny note,
I couldnt say I love you too when I was 'sleeping', so I asked Steve, who turned out to be your best friend how I can do a cassette mixtape to let you remember how much you mean to me. I love you ~ joyce

"Joyce, this is so cute, I love you too", Alex said, centimeters away from Joyce face. Alex went in for a long passionate kiss. When they sepperated they heard a voice from behind. "If this isn't the lovely voice of my favourite person", Steve said. "Steve the hair harrington, dude come here", Alex said hugging Steve. "I missed you", Alex said in Steves shoulder. "I have missed you too lesbiano, we should have met a week ago till I heard you were found and in the hospital, I didn't wanted to leave your side, but sadly I had to go to school. Joyce didn't left your side any second", Steve said making Joyce blush. "Wait for how long was I gone?", Alex asked. "You we're 3 days in the upside down", Jim said yawning standing up from the couch walking to Aex "and 11 days asleep, in a coma, when we found you-". "I had no pulse I know I know", Alex cut Jim off. "Now come here give me a hug old man", Alex said. "i'm not old", Jim said. "Then come down here and hug me old man", Alex said. "I thought we lost you", Jim said in Alex shoulder. "To be honest I thought so too, but here I am, not even a car crash and weird ass looking monsters can kill me", Alex said making everyone laugh a bit.
"How's Will?", Alex asked. "He's doing better than you and your leg, you saved him, thank you", Joyce said. "I made a promise Joyce", Alex said brushing it off. "What did the doctors said?", Alex asked. "You can be glad to sill have your leg, but your knee is very damaged and it will take a while and a lot of physio therapy till you be able to walk again. However, you probably won't be able to have 100% of your leg back probably just the half. You probably won't be able to be a cop anymore, with a damaged leg, but it could change", Jim said.
Alex didn't cared less, she was just happy to be alive. Alex looked in Joyce eyes, who was reading Alex mind when Alex laid eyes on Joyce. "Okay, we gonna give you two some privacy", Steve said, pushing Hopper out of the room.
"What happened to you?", Joyce asked. Alex told Joyce the whole story, how Alex crashed the tree, got caught in the upside down and how she came back to life but left out the Satan part. Joyce was laying on Alex chest by the end of the story and Alex just told her the story, with no emotions, but deep down Alex knew she wouldn't be able to sleep for some days without having nightmares about the upside down.
"I'm so so sorry that this happened to you love", Joyce said looking at Alex with tears in her eyes. "Love don't cry", Alex said whiping away Joyce tears with her thumbs, followed by a soft kiss on Joyce lips. "We will stay threw this", Alex said. "Together", Joyce said.
