After Alex' and Joyce breakfast Joyce drove Alex back to the police station. They hugged each other's before Alex headed inside the station. "Where were you??", a loud masculine voice said as Alex entered the station. "Where were you yesterday night?", Alex said to Jim who spoke to her. "I could have needed you, but oh of course you didn't show up", Alex said her eyes filling with tears. "Alex Listen, I'm sorry okay I- i didn't thought it could happen when I'm away", Jim said. "Well it happened like all the other times you weren't there", Alex said now tears storming out of her eyes. "I'm so sorry Alex I'm sorry", Jim said pulling Alex into a hug, comforting her.
Alex calmed down in Hoppers arms. After a while hugging Alex broke away from the hug "I really like hugging you you're like a big teddy bear but I need to work", Alex said. "About that, why not taking a day off?", Hopper said. "I I can't I promised Joyce to find Will", Alex said. "Ouhh so you promised her mhm", Hopper said teasingly causing Alex to blush. "Yeah I did", Alex said. "Okay okay, we gonna search threw the forest later in the night I wasn't sure if you want to join but if you promised Joyce to find him you of course can join we'll take every help we can get", Hopper said. Alex nodded her head and walking to her office.
She put on her headphones from her Walkman and listened to Billy Idols without a face while working on paper stuff.

The night came faster as Alex thought and she found herself on the passenger seat of Jim's car heading to a forest to search for Will.
When they arrived people where already there with flashlights. The people, including Alex Jim and this science teacher from Wills school, who Alex noticed talking to Jim asking about his daughter, started to search. They all screamed for Will calling out his name. Alex wandered around caught in her thoughts thinking about Joyce and their moment in the diner. Alex is a lesbian, Jim knew it. She told him at first when she knew something was off with her sexuality. She never found boys interesting. Steve was the second who got to knew the news. He is Alex' best friend so he would find out either way so Alex told him. They both took it quite easy. It wasn't any problem for them.
Alex didn't knew any other gay people. Maybe Joyce was also a lesbian or bisexual? But Alex doubted it. She has two kids that means she should have or had a husband. Alex thoughts got interrupted by Jim. "Kid, are you good? You don't look so good." "I'm fine just a bit tired", Alex said. "Does Joyce has a husbad?", Alex asked. "Why would you want to know that?", Jim asked. "just curious"; Alex said. "Well, she had a husband. But their relationship was toxic so her ex husband left to go in the city", Jim said. "Do you think WIll is with her ex husband?", Alex said. "No, I don't think so, but I need to be sure. I guess im gonna send some officer there to look ya know"; Jim said. They silently continued to look for Will.
"Ya know, you can take the car and leave early I don't think we gonna find him here and it looks like it's about to rain. One of the other officers can take me home", Jim said suddenly. "Mhm okay I guess I'm gonna go then head off to bed", Alex said. "Do you want me to walk you to the car"?, Jim said sarcastically. "Haha, I'm 20 and I have a gun I can handle old scary man or stranger things by myself", Alex said walking off holding her middle finger in the air.
The walk back to Jim's car was nothing special. Alex heard the peoples muffled voices searching for Will. On the last meters it started to rain. When Alex arrived at the car she was soaking with water. Alex drove off heading to her home also Jim's home. The car ride was silent so Alex turned on the radio again hearing the song eyes without a face by Billy Idol.
As Alex arrived at the house she quickly ran inside and showered quickly trying to get warm. After the shower she laid down in bed thinking yet again over that beautiful woman. Her perfect cheekbones, her dark brown eyes, her cute nose, her pink lips Alex almost kissed. Woah everything was perfect.
Alex was almost off to sleep until she heard the phone ring. She almost fell out of the bed running to the telephone. "Hello?", Alex said. "Oh my dear, finally I tried to call since an hour now", it was the woman Alex thought about seconds ago. "Joyce?, is Everything alright? You don't sound good", Alex asked worried. "Is Jim there?", Joyce asked. "No not yet, they're still searching for Will, I was going home earlier", Alex said. "Is there any chance you could get here?", Joyce asked. "Yeah for sure let me grab some stuff I'll be there in 10 minutes", Alex said hanging up. Alex put on other clothes, grabbed her college jacket and wrote a note for Jim when he would return back to not be worried. Alex then went outside yet again in the rain and in the car, driving off to the woman.

I had totally random motivation and wrote the next chapter at midnight HELPPP
ANYWAY chapter 4 is already in progress and if I find time maybe already tomorrow will come the next chapter :)
