~ Y/n's Pov: ~

While we were walking to the cafe and Jinx was talking abt a project she had to do for art class I kept quiet. I don't know what was wrong with me but I kinda felt like shit.

J:" Hey, what's wrong?"
Y/n:" Oh, nothing! I am just listening."

*Y/n smiles at Jinx while Jinx looked bothered.*

J:" Right, is it because of what happend or..?"
Y/n:" No. I am not bothered by anything."
J:" Alright.."

When we arrived at the cat cafe Jinx immediatly ran to the cats and started to pet one, it was so adorable. The fact she's so crazy but she can be so sweet.

J:" Look Y/n, this one reminds me of you!"
Y/n:" Hm?.."
J:" Such a cutie.."
Y/n:" I'm gonna go order, what do you want?"
J:" Um..."
Y/n:" ..Yk what just come.."
J:" I don't wanna leave the kitty tho..."
Y/n:" Acting like a child now? How many sides do you have Jinx?"

*Jinx chuckled and came up to Y/n with the cat in her arms*

Y/n:" Uhm..okay.."
J:" Hehe, I love this cat!"
Y/n:" Looks like it likes you too."

The cat was snuggling into Jinx's arms so peacefully while purring. I don't even know how I get jealous of a cat..but I just wanted to snuggle into Jinx's arms too.

Y/n:" Well anyways, pick what you want."
J:" Hm...What'cha picking toots?"
Y/n:" A Mocha with a Chocolate loaf."
J:" Mmmmm...I want a..HOT CHOCOLATE."
Y/n:" Okay..! You can play with the cats again if you want."

When me and Jinx were done we left the cafe. It was pretty fun, but something kept and kept bothering me.
As if sounds of heels kept hitting the floor, my sisters yells and groans, my dad crashing bottles of alkohol onto the floor, all ringing in my head and I just couldn't escape it.

Y/n:" Can we go see my parents..?"
J:" W-What?"

She stuttered while saying that, i don't know why she always seemed nervous and changed subjects when it came to my parents.

J:" Ah-uh! Did you know that the brown cat with white spots and black dot on her nose is named Angela?!"
Y/n:" Jinx..did..."
J:" I- um... Look a bird!"
Y/n:" Jinx. What. Happend. To. My. Parents.?"

I starred at her with my eyebrows crashing together agressivly but hurt. She couldn't look me into my eyes, I knew something was up. My eye rose when I realized something bad probably happend.

Y/n:" Jinx?.."

My eyes started to tear up while Jinx stood there not knowing what to do or what to say. She just starred at the ground trying to find answers there, I guess.

Y/n:" I-"

I didn't know what to do, my breath got heavier and heavier every second.

J:" Y/n?.."
Y/n:" ..."

I didn't want to ignore her, it's just all that pain was like.. swallowing me. Even thought I hated them, they were still my parents.

I proceeded to run, idk where but somewhere. Jinx followed me.

J:" Y/n, slow the fuck down!"

I tried to stop, but I just couldn't. I just knew my face was a mess right now and my mind couldn't think right.

J:" Y/n!"

She yelled out. Trying to reach me, trying to save me.
Until I crashed onto a car. Everything went black...so did my thoughts. All I was in right now, was in deep water. Drowning.
I don't know what is happening nor what to do. I tried to go up but I was just too...damn...weak.
I tried and tried, yet didn't make it. I felt my throat burning and while I was "floating" in the water. I was feeling stressed..yet so calm.

I don't know how much it passed but it felt like hours. I heard yelling, squeeking and much more sounds I just couldn't process until I felt pain. Pain on my chest that made my eyes jump.

~ Jinx's Pov: ~

She was laying inside of the hospital car. I was by her side the whole time while she was dying. I felt empty, it was all my fault.

"It is." Mylo said to me. His voice broke me. It was just all my fault. Again.

Doc:" Shit, we're losing her!"

The doctor screamed. I finally snapped out of it and my eyes were wide. I was pushed away while they tried to keep her alive. Honestly, I was so scared. I couldn't take it.

Doc:" She's alive!"

I saw Y/n's eyes fling open, all my thoughts went away when I saw her alive.

J:" Y/n!"
Y/n:" Jinx..?"

She let out a silent "Jinx?" when she woke up. I could see she was in pain, and it was all my fault.

She fully "woke up" now, looking around the room, all confused.

J:" Toots!"

I jumped on her.
Happy she was alive.

After our uber took us home and dropped us home I couldn't stop holding Y/n close beside me. I didn't wanna let go off her, ever again.

Y/n:" I'm sorry."

She whispered into my ear. I felt her warm breath on my skin.

J:" What?"
Y/n:" Ya' know. About the running away and almost dying...sorry."
J:" You shouldn't apologize, toots."
Y/n:" Why? it's my fault."
J:" You were sad and felt betrayed. I feel ya, sweet cheeks."

*Y/n gave Jinx a big smile as she walked  into the house*
