Winter's POV

"Stop smiling like a creep will ya? Geez, you're freaking me out." I glared at Ningning and turned my attention back to the phone. I smiled when she replied.

from girlfriend❤️: I miss you so bad.

My smile got wider when I read her message, fuck, I couldn't keep my cool when it comes to Karina. I was about to type my response but Ningning snatched my phone from my hand. I gave her death glares but she just stood in front of me with her arms crossed and her eyebrow raised.

"What's the meaning of this unnie?" Ningning half-shouted but I didn't answer.

"Are you keeping secrets from me now!? What happened to bffs forever!" Ningning was in the verge of crying and it kinda annoyed me. Geez, when would she stop acting like a baby!

"It's nothing." I shortly answered, hoping that it would convince her even just a bit, but no. Ningning whined as she showed me my phone with Karina's message on the screen. I blushed so hard and I tried to snatch it away from her but nah, she hid it behind her back.

"Who is that 'girlfriend'!?"

"I-it's nothing." I lied and Ningning knew it, of course, she knows me the best.

"How about I tell your 'girlfriend' that you're denying her, imagine what would she feel about it? She must be in pain the moment she found out." Ningning said with a mischievous smile plastered on her face, dude, she's giving me chills. She's probably right, I don't wanna deny Karina.

"Alright.. but please, don't get so surprise.." I took a deep breath as Ningning sat beside me with her eyes glued on me.

"Just fucking spill."

"It's Karin-"

"JIMIN UNNIE!? KARINA!? KARINA YU!? YOUR BOSS!?!!" Before I could finish talking, Ningning screamed as if there was no tomorrow. I covered my ears because she's too loud, I swear if she ain't my friend, I'm probably stitching her mouth right now.

"Calm down, will ya? Geez, you're giving me earbleeds." Ningning stood up with her eyes widened, gosh, was it really that unreal? Was it hard to believe that I'm dating Karina? Geez. Ningning slapped my arm which made me groan in pain, ouch.

"You're so impulsive!!" Me, why?

"What are you talking about?" Ningning just stood there in front of me, and believe me, she looks like an angry granny.

"WHY WOULD YOU DATE SOMEONE WHO'S ALREADY ENGAGE!? YOU'RE SO IMPULSIVE!" That got me thinking, is it really the right thing to do? I sighed when thoughts started to flood my brain.

"Can we talk in a nice way? Please?" Ningning took a deep breath as she sat beside me again.

"I know unnie, you're in love with her, and she's in love with you but this doesn't feels right. Karina already got a fiancé and they're getting married in just 2 months! I don't wanna hurt yourself again, please." I sighed and I felt a pang in my chest, my heart was about to jump out of my chest, she's right, I might hurt myself again.

"Probably, by the way, why do you know so much about her?" I asked bewilderedly and I saw her face started to get sweaty, wait, is she hiding something from me?

"I-i just heard the rumors.. yeah.. g-gossips, you know? Hehe jobless.." I squinted my eyes at her, she averted her eyes away from me and it made her look more suspicious.
