2: "It's nice to finally hear from you."

Dear y/n,

It's nice to finally hear from you. I wasn't sure who was supposed to write first, so I was going to give it a week before I wrote to you. And don't apologize for your jokes or how much you write. I really enjoyed reading your letter, so I hope you continue writing like how you are now.

You have a pretty cool major; I'm sure you'll figure out what job you can get with it eventually. So I say don't stress too much over it. I'm an art major myself, currently trying to be a graphic designer.

So to answer the four questions you had in your letter, here they go.

1. My name is Choso, and I am a 21-year-old male. So you don't have to worry about me being a weird old man.

2. My hobbies include drawing, photography, and listening to music.

3. I don't have a favorite show, but I watch a bunch of movies because of my younger brother.

4. I do like cats! In fact, I have a cat; their name is Kat (my younger brother picked the name, not me). I hope that isn't a deal-breaker for you. I would hate to see our growing "pen-ship" go to waste.

I hope that we can learn more about each other with every letter we write. Until I hear from you again.

You smile as you fold the letter and place it on your desk. You peek your head out your partly opened door, "Shoko!" you call out.

"Yes y/n?... I'm kinda busy studying for my organic chem test right now," she yelled back, endlessly flipping through her class notes and textbook.

"I got a letter from my pen pal!" You announce happily. Almost immediately, Shoko rises from her chair and heads toward your room.

"You got a letter from them?! Let me see!" she pants.

You hold your arm out, "No, you can't see it! You're going to make fun of it like last time. But I can tell you it's not a creepy old man!"

Shoko smirks, "Ohh, so was I right then? Are they hot?!"

"Well, if you care, my pen pal is a he, and I don't know if they are hot. I only got a letter, not a picture, so I can't tell you if they are good-looking or not."

"Well, do they sound hot?! C'mon, you might be able to find out through the way they write?" Shoko jokes. 

You laugh off Shoko's comments. "That's the dumbest thing I've heard. Once I get a picture, I'll show you. Does that sound like a deal?" Shoko nods quickly, "So tell me about him? What did he write?" she questions.

"Well..." you drawled in a low voice, "his name is Choso, he is 21, and he is an art major. Apparently, he has a younger brother, and he likes cats, music, and drawing," you explained.

"Ohhh, he is an artsy boy and likes cats. I hear a few green lights for you. You always seem to like guys who are cat people. You should ask for a picture of his cat if that's not weird."
