Me and Harry are mucking about, running down the stairs. When we get to the bottom we hear the letter box flap open and close. "Harry go get the letters, will ya?"

"Okay!" He excitedly runs over to the door and picks up the pile of letters. "Here."

"Thank you." I flick through the letters as I walk into the office, rolling my eyes at the bills and the boring letters as well as pamphlets.

"Is that the post, Roxy?" Mike asks, but I don't get a chance to answer him when my jaw drops to the floor at the sight of the letter I hold in my hands. "Roxy? Roxy, what's wrong?"

"I've got a letter." I breathe out.

"What?"

"I've got a letter." I look up and make eye contact with him. "I've got post!"

"Really?"

"Don't act so surprised." I chuck the rest of the post on his desk. "Can I open this?"

"I don't see why not." He shrugs with a small smile.

"Thank you, thank you, thank youuuu!" I hug him quickly before turning to Harry, carrying him on my hip and then speed walk into the living room with my letter in hand.

"Alright, love." Liam greets.

"Look, look, look!" I wave my letter around.

"What's that?" Multiple people ask.

"This. My kind associates." I place Harry on the floor. "This, is a letter."

Everyone starts talking over each other with a high level of sarcasm about my response.

"Shush, shush, shush." I roll my eyes. "The main point is... I've got post. For the first time in history, Roxanne Vanderwaal has got post."

"Well open it then!" Carmen insists.

I look to Liam who has a sceptical look on his face, I give him a confused smile but all he does is just motion to the letter. That was a bit weird...

I tear open the envelope and take out the first thing I see, disregarding the rest of it on the floor.

Please read the letter inside the envelope.

What? I shakily let out a breath, slowly picking up the envelope and taking out the letter, dropping the envelope again.

'Dear Roxanne,

I know we left things on a bad note and that you have a certain disliking towards Darren. But I would really appreciate if you come along to our big day. I couldn't imagine not having my own daughter at my wedding and I wouldn't want anyone else to do the honour of being my flower girl. So please think about coming along.

But if you do, you must be on your best behaviour. No snarky comments or making up stories again about your time staying with us.
