45. Prom

"What kind of dreams?" Caroline asks
"Usually I'm at his grave and all of a sudden, he appears to me." Bonnie says.

"Well, you never got to say goodbye, Bon."
"You're grieving. That's normal." Rosalie says
"When I woke up the couch was on fire." Bonnie continues
"Oh." They both say.

"I don't know if it's because I was emotional in my dream or if Shane was right. Without his help, I'll lose control of my magic." Bonnie says
"No, it's because you need a night off of mourning and we are going to make sure you have it." Caroline says
"Um, you look super hot, by the way." Bonnie tells her.

"You think?" Caroline asks
"Oh, yeah." Rosalie says
"Yeah?" Caroline smiles
"Yeah. Matt and I are gonna have the sexiest date there." Bonnie says.

"Rosalie are you okay?" Caroline asks as Rosalie has tears in her eyes
"Yeah, I'm fine, it's just weird because after tonight, I'll be packing. I am going to miss you so much." She says and they hug and then the door opens.

"Hey, Bonnie. Heard you got your mind wiped that sucks. Pretty dress, Caroline." Elena says
"I know you helped me pick it out months ago when we were friends before you tried to kill me." Caroline says
"I thought it looked familiar."

"Can you press this for me? I'll pick it up later. Bonnie." Caroline says and goes into the changing rooms
"Rosalie." Elena greets
"Bitch." Rosalie says.

"Klaus!" Rosalie shouts and Klaus speeds to her
"What have I done? Are you hurt?" Klaus asks looking for injures
"No, Elena stole Caroline's dress and I gave her mine and now I don't have a dress." Rosalie rants and Klaus breaks out into a smile and starts laughing.

"It is not funny." Rosalie says
"No it's not." He says trying not to laugh
"Then why are you laughing?" She asks
"Sorry." He says and stops laughing.

"Do you have a dress?" She asks
"For you love, I'll have anything."
"Are you sure you can't come?"
"Yes, I'm sorry."
"Love you."
"Love you too." Rosalie says and leaves to get her hair and makeup done.

"She's left, she'll have no idea, Caroline." Klaus says over the phone and he gets a dress for Rosalie and then gets ready.

"You look amazing." Gabriella says
"So do you two." Rosalie says as tears for in her eyes
"No tears, this is prom." Maya says
"I know but I grew up here. I lived in this town."

"And now you can live in New Orleans." Gabriella says
"You're the best date ever." Rosalie says
"I know." She says and they laugh.

"Rebekah is going to pass out when she sees you." Rosalie says
"I really hope not." Maya says
"Let's go, ladies." Gabriella says and they get out the car and into the prom and Maya goes to find Rebekah and Stefan approaches them.

"You both look beautiful." He says and Rosalie hugs him
"We are going to be here when you come back." Stefan whispers
"Why am I so emotional?" Rosalie asks
"I swear I'm going to drown in my own tears." She says.

"How about we go dance?" Gabriella says and Rosalie nods
"Rosalie, there's some things you need to pick up after the prom." Stefan says and she nods and they start to dance and see Maya and Rebekah dancing and then kiss and they squeal and Rebekah and them turn to them and they act like nothing happened.

It was the end of prom and she got out the car to see her brothers outside their house
"What are you two doing?"
"You'll see." Damon says and opens the door to see it decorated like one she wrote about in her diary.

"What going on?"
"This is your going away party styled like the one in-"
"My diary."
"You also wrote about having a prince so." Stefan says and Klaus stands there with a bouquet of roses
"Who planed this?" She asks.

"It was Klaus' but Caroline was a perfectionist when it came to the details and everyone being here." Damon says
"Now the real question, who went through my diary."
"Oh, listen your favourite song." Stefan says as a song played when it was Rosalie's birthday when her brother and her danced in the garden and everyone starts to dance and Rosalie dances with Damon.

"It's weird knowing that we won't see each other daily." He says
"Yeah." She says
"Where's Elena?"
"She's passed out on vervain so you don't have to worry." He says and Rosalie spins into Stefan's arms.

"You're the one who read my diary."
"Guilty." He laughs
"So, you know..." She trails off referring to what her father did 
"Yeah." He says and kisses her head and then she spins into Klaus' arms.

"You look handsome."
"And you look beautiful."
"I love you."
"And I love you." He says and they kiss and red rose petals fall from the ceiling and they pull apart.

"How much do you want to bet Caroline planned that?"
"None because you're right and I've lost so much money on those bets." He says and the song stops and new song starts and her friend dance with her and Rosalie ends up in the middle of the circle and white rose petals fall down and Rosalie locks eyes with Klaus.

Rosalie Salvatore is happy she's in love and ready to begin the next chapter in her life.
