Y/n's pov:
It was 2 pm. I was half an hour too early. The table I was sitting at stood in the corner of a little café. My friends and I had decided to meet for the first time after a while. A few years ago we used to meet here almost every day after school, but since all of us had jobs now, we barely saw each other. I looked around. Nothing had changed. On the walls hung still paintings children made while their parents were drinking coffee and chatting with their friends. In the windows were standing flowers in all colours of the rainbow. Even the tables and the chairs stood at the exact same places.

Suddenly my eyes fell on a man. He had purple hair. I think that he must be about my age. The purple haired stood behind the cashier and wore the same clothes as the over baristas. I never saw him here before, I suppose that he was new here. I mean I hadn't been in this café for over two years. I realised I was staring at him when he started to look in my direction. We held eye contact for a minute before the front door opened. It was one of these kinds of eye contact where you couldn't look away. I was trapped in his gaze. I could finally turn away from him when my friend Haneul approached me.

"Hey, Y/n! Long time no see" I stood up and hugged her. During all the time we haven't seen each other she hadn't changed at all. "Did you have to wait for a long time? I was afraid that I'm going to arrive way too early." I laughed.

"No, I just entered the café about ten minutes ago. I'm glad that you're here now." Haneul sat down on the chair next to me. We talked about this and that before the rest of our friends arrived five minutes too late. After some time, two of them decided to get us something to drink. Since I absolutely loved coffee, I chose an iced Americano. It was one of my favourite things to drink in summer.

I really enjoyed the day. But I felt someone's eyes on me the entire time. I wasn't sure if it was the man from before at first. But eventually, I caught him watching me one time. He quickly looked away and acted as if he was talking to a customer. I chuckled and thought it was cute.

At one point in our conversation, my friends started to talk about their relationships. It turned out that I was the only one of us who was still single. Haneul was even engaged. I sighed. I was never in a serious relationship so far. I really hated talking about this topic with others since they always started to say things like "Oh, I'm so sorry for you", "I'm sure you will find someone one day" or "You know one of my friends is single too. I can set up a date if you want." But luckily it was already late therefore we said goodbye to each other soon.

I needed to go to the toilet first, so I stayed at the café for a bit longer. When I left the bathroom, I almost bumped into someone.

"Oh I'm sorry" I bowed. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the purple-haired man. He smiled at me. I had to admit that he had a gorgeous smile. On his chest was a little sign with the name 'Minho' on it.

"Don't worry, everything is okay" I bowed one last time and exited the café. Woah, what was that strange feeling I had when he smiled at me? I shrugged it off and went home.

I visited the café at least two times a week for the next month. I always dragged one of my friends with me, hoping that the real reason why I came here so often wouldn't be too obvious. I was even able to talk to Minho one or two times. He was indeed very kind. The feeling I had the first time he talked to me didn't disappear. I think that probably the exact opposite had happened. It got worse every time. I mean, it wasn't a bad feeling. I think I could definitely get used to it.

Today was the first time that I had to go to the café alone, without one of my friends. As soon as I entered, Minho's eyes landed on me.

Minho's pov:
It was Friday. The café would close in twenty minutes. Most customers had already left but suddenly the door opened. There she was. Her wavy dark brown coloured hair fell over her shoulders as she walked towards me. She wore a white skirt and a grey oversized hoodie.

"One iced americano?" I asked as she approached me. From the few conversations we had I found out that she loved them. She smiled widely at me.

"Yes, thank you" Y/n stood beside the counter and waited for me to finish her order. I knew that right now was finally the perfect moment for me to ask her out. But what if she didn't like me back? I hesitated for a moment

Y/n's pov:
"Here is your coffee" Minho put my drink on the counter. It seemed like he wanted to say something but he didn't. I took the coffee and sat down at a table not too far away from him. I enjoyed just sitting and relaxing here. I had my eyes closed and almost got a heart attack when Minho suddenly appeared in front of my table. My hand laid on my chest in shock.

"Oh god, you scared me." His face got pale. It seemed like he was actually panicking.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean to-" he took a deep breath. "To be honest I wanted to ask if I could sit here together with you. Since my shift ended a few minutes ago"

"Sit here? You mean like friends and we are gonna talk with each other" Minho cleared his throat.

"No, I meant it more like a date where we talk with each other, and maybe even plan to meet again." My eyes widened. I automatically fixed my posture and sat up straight.

"Uhm yeah, of course," I blushed slightly and chuckled a little bit nervous. "I would love that."
