THE ERADICATION OF PAST

The Party

 I was given a grand brown dress for the party i had a bit of trouble getting it on but the maids helped me. They did my hair and left. so i went to sit by the the mirror and i took the small box lady vinchi gave me. she gave me two bow pins and said it would suit me much better. I did not feel good about the party very much i... it wasn't just not right you know the feeling of falling. i got very upset all of a sudden. i started to sob visions of my father and mother and me only us moving happily in utsira came past my mind i started to cry a bit loud.

*knock knock

L: come in! *wiping all the tears
T: Hello!
Lady vinchi: hello my dear! sorry i could not bring my grandson , he slept off so i left him with the nanny.
L: oh it is ok mrs. vinchi it would probably be a bad idea to bring the kid to a place filled with drunken people.
L.V: oh wow i told you it suits you better you look very lovely my dear.
T: are you ok your eyes seem red?
L: i am perfectly fine i just got some fragrence into my eye mistakenly.

L.V: well then you should sit down and close your eyes for some time we will wait for you at the hall.

i did not want to rebel so i let it slide and laid down and they both left for the hall. the party hall was near my house. so i could go there by anytime. but i should go if my mother insists. and i also think sir. thomas and lady vinchi will get bored.

i searched for mother. and i found out that she was waiting for me in the carrier.I realised i was late.i rushed outside to meet my very beautiful and happy mother.

C: there you are! 

there you are she said with her face bright like moon. I was very happy about that. I could see my mother smiling after many days even before dad died she was upset because i wasn't listening to her. we were not in good terms but now i am there for her and she for me. verything was good actually i had new friends , my mom is happy, a great place to live, my loving uncles and my neice and nephew of 10 and 12. it wasn't too long before we reached. my uncles and aunts were already there in the hall supervising how the preperation were going.

L: mother. i would love to say you look sooo beautiful. father would have wanted to see you this happy.
C: thank you darling. i really think he is watching. and i suppose he would want me like this and alsooo..... 

she draged.

L:and also..
c: also he would want you to have a man for you.

when i thought everything was fine *i sighed

L:mom i am not even an adult fully
c:well in two weeks you will be 18 and it is known as the young adulthood.
L: well shouldn't i graduate.
C: you should it is very much important. but so is a man's company.
L: well when am i going to study then.
C: i am not asking you to marry anyone next month or anything . I am just saying find a man get to know him. slowly love him and by that time when u find it real  you will be graduated. 
L:yeah but i don't know any place where i could go and study.
C: well james will know someone.
L:who
c: you know mr.anderson. orr.. maybe your scientist friend could teach you something.
L: who sir. thomas  he is an inventor he says but i do think he is well read. i saw alot of books and lots of new and wonderful devices.
C: oh. well wouldn't he teach some of it.

before she could finish it was time to get down. we reached the hall when uncle ben stopped us and took my mothers hand and lead her slowly inside. i walked behind the crowd was very much excited about my mom. i slowly snuck off when i could.

T: hey!
L: aa!! you almost scared me.
T:why were you walking like you stole something you know secretive like?
L: I am not the party person.
T: aahh... company finally.
L: why what happend to lady vinchi.
T: well she said she wanted to meet few people and left.
L: well then anything interesting???
T: you are very bored aren't you?
L: yeaa... very much. oh i forgot to ask i actually was very fasinated by your work in the morning, would you make me as your apprentice or a student kind maybe Sir. Thomas ed...
T:just Thomas would do and.. i don't know about the teaching part i could sure show my devices and you can watch me do it as an apprentice but i don't if i could teach.
L: well i am okay with that i just love learning and exploring new topics . and wait how old are you.
T: 23
L: oh you are very young i am not telling you that look old it's just wow you read a lot.
T: thanks i guess. but still i don't get it if its a compliment or..
L: its a compliment.

we talked for a while and then i got to meet other people i hung out with my sweet aunts and then lady winchi for more than 3 hours. the party was almost over. half of the people was gone lady vinchi just took her leave. And it was pretty good even with very less people i then saw 
sir.James anderson doing something that made me stumble. Was he proposing my mother?
